I saw a build were the guy was very turbo, anti-backrow-y, and instead of running more traps (which can clog), he played a ton of spells. Aside from the normal use of Upstart, Instant Fusion, Soul Charge and Infernity Launcher, he maxed out on MST and Night Beams. His only backrow were the Infernity Traps and maybe Wiretaps... it was very light in the Trap section as I mentioned.

I saw that one too, totally doesn't make sense to me right now with Artifacts all over the place.

Maybe they figured out or know for sure that no one was gonna afford it around there, so they basically went YOLOfernity.
One trend I'm seeing and wanting to try is triple Stygian Street Patrol.

Triple SSP is really fun, think it requires double Grepher though.

Or double Arma. Either looks alright, dunno what really performs better just from just looking, as both extra copies have their particular roles. Grepher would be great for clogged hands, or even those that "just has 1 too many monsters". Arma is great topdeck'd or summoned via Monk.
Of course, going 3x SSP and a third Warrior usually cuts the Archfiend 2-card suite. Some even don't play a third Necromancer.

That list of my friend's build was only using 2 Necro. He was still having issues with monster clogged hands. I think it may have had something to do with his shuffling it most cases though.
