Let face facts, we've all had times when we needed to vent something. That's what this thread is about. Don't let things fester. Get what's making you sad or angry off your chest. But for the sake of the mods watch your language...As hard as that may be.
In my case I am frustrated, angry and to be quite frank disgusted with my managers. I have worked at the same ****ing Kmart for over 4 years now and every ****ing year I work my *** off getting ready for the lawn and garden season while still somehow managing to do my usual work load. This year was no different. I assembled the patio furniture myself and organized the stock room which required moving several patio sets and grills without help. Both are no small task when you have limited use of your ****ing hands and left leg. And how was my hard work rewarded? They started hiring from another Kmart first! So yeah, I know the employees, the store, customers and have experience with landscaping and I was overlooked in favor of some one from another ****ing store. And after my mentioning this to a coworker the store manage said maybe they'll get me on register training. I've heard that lie before and I stopped believing it after the 3rd time, not getting my hopes up on the 8th.
In the end I think I've just about had it with the all the **** they've put me through. I have decided enough is enough. I hope to find a new job before the start of summer, but if I time it out right I figure I could quit on inventory day. That should **** them over nicely since I usually pull a double. I need employment that offers promotions, raises, more than 20 hours and at least a little respect. All of which I've been denied as a Sears Holdings employee.

I got a research paper back from my teacher the other day, and got a 64/100 on it. This seemed low so I looked over the corrections she had made and the majority of the corrections she made changed perfect sentences into grammatical errors. I checked with the people on my left and right and they had also gotten their research papers turned into slag. Almost entirely ruined my day. Thankfully I have some wonderful friends at my fencing center.

Quite a few people asked her questions about her "edits" unfortunately she seemed quite happy with them.... Ah well, not much you can do when she gets called on it by half the class and she doesn't change anything. She did give everyone the option to rewrite though, so I'll probably do that. Unfortunately butchering my paper to do so... but higher grade. Eh.

If she is teaching you, and you the STUDENT can see grammatical error in her corrections, you should call her on it. when I had this happen in highschool, if the teacher would not budge I went to another teacher and got them to back me up and ENFORCE the correct way of doing things. I got shit from some teachers, but most gave be credit for sticking to my guns and wanting to be taught the right way. IT shows good habits as a student and a dedication and care to your work. I'm not saying go rub it in their face and say "fix it or else" but I would confront this teacher privately and ask how she can justify butchering the English language to reach her standards.

Privately would be the best way to do things. I am sorry if I saw this on the college level, I be like no and bring it to the attention of the department head. I just inform them that this teacher is instructing the class to write in incorrect grammar. My college is pretty anal about their students writing with correct grammar.

You know that feeling that you've been running a tight ship on some things and when you went to rely on your system you find just the one problem that shatters that perception? Well I just had one of those yesterday.
It would've been a typical meet at the "locals" though most others were unavailable to meet yesterday. I was planning to put together some decks, clean up my binders a bit, organize in general. As I was doing so, I was looking for a deck core I've set aside until I can put a more complete deck list together. Now, as I dug around my stuff for the location of this group of cards, something eventually grew in me the longer I searched, that feeling of dread you associate when you cannot absolutely find it in the places you expect it to be.
I looked first at the obvious areas, like my backpack that carries most of my cards most of the time. Then a suitcase that carries other less commonly used cards. Still no luck. I check my desk area if maybe I stowed it at a corner I just couldn't yet see. Checked the draws or the cabinets. Nada.
This is seriously getting frustrating, so I look at other locations around the house that there's even a hair of a chance I may have left it around there before. I go back around my room and look into other containers just to check if I moved them around and I've forgotten.
Last time I saw these were before Regionals a couple of weeks ago, and I know what you're thinking when I say that. Well here's another thing that added to my stress: I've had this notion I did NOT carry these particular group of deck cores (hidden away in a red Ultra Pro double deck box) to the event because I didn't think I would ever need them there. Now I don't know when exactly I made this particular decision, which further annoys me because then I can't tell exactly when I last saw them. Did I see these cards the night before Regionals? Did I already "lose" them well beforehand? Or did I somehow "reconsidered" and carried them with me at the event anyways? I don't even remember if I still had them in the container I expected of them (at least this is what I thought last night... by now, after asking around, I'm sure it's still in that same deck box that I cannot find). At this point I just hope that it's still just somewhere around my room or floor. So, I basically tore through my room.
It got a good cleaning at the least. Looking everywhere, I figured I might as well clean things up while I move things out, before I bring stuff back into the room. Most everything is still outside my room and I'll be selectively bringing stuff back in after since I've been also meaning to organizing those things. As of right now, these cards are still missing, and throughout this weekend I'll be going through my other stuff and even stuff I've gone through now to find them. Slowly will things be forcibly organized, whether it be the cards I wanted to work with (YGO) or the other things I have because I've already put this effort to segregate my stuff, might as well finish the organization before I stuff them back into my room somewhere.
One thing's for sure, I won't be working with certain deck cores for a while...
These are what I can recall that are in there: - Amazoness (minor loss) - Norleras Turbo (major loss, SCR PoC, 3 Norleras, GLD BLS-EotB, mini-LS stuff, TDC, etc.) - Toon collection (minor loss aside from TToC) - Gradius? (minor loss) - extra Archfiend stuff (minor loss, I'm glad I retained my better stuff elsewhere) - Vylon pile (what I was looking for)

Damn, that really sucks. Any chance you'll still find them somewhere?

We won't know until I sort through everything, and I still have few other places I think I could try to find them in, but I'm running out of hope tbh. It's almost a couple of weeks by now and you know if something is missing, the likeliness to find it again dwindles exponentially over time. I just hope I really did just misplace it. I'd feel a lot better feeling like an idiot that I didn't find it here or there than I would be feeling like an idiot losing it after all the time I've been keeping up this system that rarely loses things.
Mind you, my best stuff is still around and it won't impact the high end, but the very thing that I thought was a decent system failing has me concerned greatly. Sure, it may just have been a slip of the mind kind of thing, and I lost it, but that also means that the moments I lower my guard for even a second, I lose something and that's not a great mindset to have.

I can definitely understand that sentiment. It sucks when a system you use doesn't work perfectly. I wish you the best of luck in finding it!

Another deck to add to the casualties list: Roids, Jinzos and other Machines (general pile of Machine-y goodness). I feel crummier now...

I feel crummier now... *brohug* battlepacks and reprint sets can help you rebuild to get a base core of each deck going...it sucks you lost higher rarity, but nothing's ever truly lost so long as you keep trying to rebuild it.

Reprints won't recover my alt art Jinzo, for one, but I guess if I really just need the basics again, I shouldn't be picky. I guess the time will eventually come for recovery of these stuffs (like how Hunders are very slowly recovered, thanks Wave 2 Tins!)

I know where to find such cards, if your willing to do online trading to get them yourself I can pinpoint who has "X" card on "y" site for you.
