Like you need more ways to get Blizzard Falcon back on the field.

The more times you can summon Blizzard Falcon, the quicker the win shall be. It's basic reasoning in a deck that can pull it off, but it's not necessarily as easy as it sounds because the nature of the deck turns its key cards into targets. Falcon decks are viable, if for no other reason than because Falcon's stats make its summon rather easy to accomplish.

I do still wish you could get multiple Blizzard effects in a turn.

I do as well, but at least it's not like Fairy Archer in that it doesn't say only one can even activate its effect per turn! That gives some freedom to stack a couple if you can summon them.

Downside is that if you activate it and even the effect's activation is negated you can't just get another out to activate it again. The word "use" there shuts that crap down.

Yes. That is where PSCT truly becomes non-foolproof. It would be assumed that that line of text is saying that only that card can apply its effect just once, but in that regard, it's just like Archer even though the two are worded completely differently. It's disappointing, to be sure...

I don't think PSCT has ever been labeled "foolproof". Even Konami officials have stated that it isn't perfect, but its meant to help people work through most rulings issues without knowing "rulings".

Oh, I know. I'm just pointing out that in this instance, it's not particularly doing Burn players any favors. This kind of relative inconsistency can wreak havoc on an otherwise good type of card. Although, it can then follow that if cards such as these don't work the way we would like, they simply weren't meant to be as good as we would have hoped. They're just "balanced" right down to the point where they're not worth it to most.
I guess that's why I'm here, though. I don't particularly care that the existence of Xyz and Synchros is directing people toward a faster, aggressive, attacking type of game. There are ways to succeed by achieving damage through other means. There's just not as much interest in those means. I'll keep searching, and I think I (or we, if there's still a following) will find something effective.
I still say it's ironic that Blood Mefist is the card that may yet be a part of the solution. Many true Burn decks have no need for Tuners, but something like Mefist could change the game a bit in that regard. It wouldn't be revolutionary, but it would be nice to help. Of course, there's no way to keep it just within Burn decks, so something else will probably break it after it's released...

I really want that card to have a wide release still..... don't even care if it would be useful at the time, I will put it to use.

I don't understand what the wait is all about. It's been a very long time since Mefist was a prize card, and we still don't have it. This is a card that wouldn't even be as good in general as it was when it was first put out there, but there seems to be no rush whatsoever to release it somehow. It's a letdown, and I truly wonder when it will come our way.

I dare not speculate, lest the tins prove disappointing as well. Instead, I think I should put my money where my mouth is and get started on that Blizzard Falcon/Torrential Reborn deck. It may need to include stuff like Drill Barnacle and Submarineroid to fulfill my needs, but that's not a problem.

Just out of curiousity, but you do know that it brings back everything on your side as long as 1 of them was a water, right?

Of course I do! The more WATERs I have, the more often Reborn will be live. I need it to be live so I can get that extra damage on demand. My Field of choice will benefit from more WATERs as well. The bottom line is, Falcon's not enough to make Reborn worth it. It can't be the deck's only target, or even close to that.
