I have to say, I really should have thought of this sooner... I'm currently toying with Mecha Phantom Beast Burn, employing Cyber Summon Blaster (!) with Gustav, Skypalace Gangaridai and such. Scramble! Scramble! and Vertical Landing open up crazy damage turns as well. The best part is that the deck doesn't need Summon Blaster to take wins, because the MPB monsters can handle things on their own.
I never liked MPB too much, as my Calculator build never flowed, but this is very comfortable for me so far.

True, Gustav is sooo easy to drop in MPB. I've had the opportunity to drop 3 in a game.

This deck could do the same, but its access to Rank 9 is a surprisingly fun feature as well. I like it a lot so far!

Is reversal quiz consider a burn deck or some alternate condition?

To me, it's merely an Alternate Win Condition card unless the deck has a significant amount of other Burn cards in it. I'm talking about more than whatever someone would put in a chain with Quiz to win right then.

I'm not very familiar with the concept I guess.

It's used in various ways. I think Plaguespreader Zombie can be an important card to load the top card for it, but Upstart Goblin obviously does good things as well. It's not a fit for this particular area, though. Maybe there can be an Alternate Win Condition Thread made for cards/decks like that?

There was such a deck that topped/won an event, just can't remember which one, but when I find the decklist I'm sure to find such other information.

Yes that is the one! It's a very interesting concept I had only a vague idea about before until its top. Impressive result for the fella.
It kinda is a AWC in the same way Life Equalizer + Blasting the Ruins does the same thing but rely on a string of cards to pull that off, not the eventual burn this thread is normally accustomed to talking about.

I keep coming back to Satellarknight Burn as an upcoming awesome idea. (To understand where I've mentioned it before, check page 16.) Alsahm is really simple in terms of damage, and it's super-simple to get to the field. It's going to be understandably tricky to pull off because LIGHT monster have a target on their backs, but there's a lot of Special Summon power to the concept.
