As soon as I pick up a pair of Meliae I will be playing this locally and will get back with an updated build.

I'm in the process of trying to get a pair myself. This just looks like too much fun to not use right now.

Bump up. Discussion about Aki Chirubime Chirubime, Princess of Maples Level 8 EARTH Plant-Type Effect Monster ATK 1800 DEF 2800 Your opponent cannot target other Plant-Type monsters for an attack. If this card in your possession is sent to your Graveyard by your opponent’s card (either by battle or by card effect): You can Special Summon 1 Plant-Type monster from your Deck, except “Chirubime, Princess of Maples”. This seems neat enough, I'm just not sure I would summon this via the way one would traditionally summon a LV 8 body in Plants when I could still choose Tytannial.

Honestly Lonefire > Aki > Gigaplant. Again this gives us more options playing supervise as well.

I really like Chirubime and will include at least one in a deck once she's available. Her image even reminds me more of Tytannial than any of the others.
It would be really cool if they eventually release light and dark plant princesses just to finish all the attributes.

Agreed, however we need a more consistent way of summoning our wonderful Mistresses of beauty.

Thinking I'm going to have fun with a Gigaplant/Meliae build. Should I try and fit Redox adn/or Grandsoil in there too?

Personally from testing I found that having Redox + Gigaplant is hand is much better than any form of Gransoil play. Honestly I have drew Gigaplant so much in my life I believe I'm loved lol.

Naturia Marron, Puppet Plant, Hedge Guard, and a number of normals for Rabbit plays. Just posted up a thread with my first attempt at a Meliae plant build. I did go with Hedge Guard like I threw out ^here^. Just found more synergy with it than initially thought. Its ability to protect Meliae in battle can, in theory, let me get that second use of her effect. Plus it works with a myriad of other cards in the deck. link- tcgrevolution.proboards.com/thread/162/over-hedge-meliae-plants?page=1&scrollTo=2114

Yeah, I'd skip Grandsoil since Redox is infinitely better than Grandsoil for this deck.

I'm not liking Grandsoil for the number of reactive ways people run to get it off the field and hose your next BP.
