It is not coming off. Only spell I see coming off is Monster Reborn. Deck staple that can swing the outcome of the game. How is that any less potent than Pot of Greed? while minimally so, greed is MORE generic (reborn cant be used in every deck, trap monsters/ banish decks have no real use for it, ect...where any pile of cards that has atleast 39 other cards in it, can run greed. )

I'm ok without Monster Reborn but if it comes back I'll also be ok.
I guess that the game can continue without it. The card is crazy good but now we don't have many power traps available to avoid a power play like that. I would say for it to stay banned for a while (if not forever)
But it isn't as bad as pot of greed... that's for sure.

MR can be countered with any number of entry traps we have.

MR can be countered with any number of entry traps we have. And since when that is enough to make sure a card doesn't belong in the banning list?

2 Free +1 draw cards....
Hmmmm....
Would that be something every deck would use?

What about Cyber Jar, people? Is there any chance that could be the next card off? Flip Effect monsters are mostly less viable than ever before, and with Xyz making high-Level monsters ever more popular in decks, I could see the Jar being all right. What would be the broken result? Would Empty Jar be everywhere just because of that, and if it did, would that be terrible? I know it's not a "standard" mechanic, and thus is surely not favored by Konami, but what's the worst possible result?

Jar is one of those cards that just cant come back, it's mechanics make it a "game changer" card when ever it's played. when you open with it, it is as if you have your finger on the detonator, and are just wiating for your opponent to get close enough to the land mine to take maximum collateral damage. When you get it mid game, you can again sit and wait on it, or use it asap to try and force through a shift in momentum and thus gain more (or regain) advantage you would not otherwise get. And late game, this card is about as bad as dark hole late game. If you are facing extinction in the current game and top this, chances are you bought yourself at least a turns reprieve, and usually you did far more than that. chances are you actually shifted this game into your favor and the opponent, now long spent and running on empty is yours for the taking. I mean sure it's no fiber jar, but it's 3 times the card morphing jar #2 is now and that card has a back breaking effect in the game as it is.

If Cyber Jar were released from the ban list there would be a rise in Empty Jar. The big thing is that the decks would gear away from larger monsters again just to maximize the effectiveness of your own Cyber Jar, and that of your opponent's. It doesn't matter that flip effects are not favorable right now, but I would hate to experience a Ghostrick deck that can load their field for game winning hits under Mansion.

Even though I still do have 2 of these boys tucked away.

I'm glad I asked about it. I understand that it's one of those crazy strong cards. I just feel that it would be harder than ever to actually resolve the effect because it's so vulnerable, so it would be a bigger risk to even try to use it now.
I actually believe we will see this card again someday. Gearing away from the high-Level monsters that are plaguing the game would slow the meta on its own, but I can see where hurting access to high Ranks would be something that is not allowed for a while longer, at least.

Hurting high ranks doesn't sound like something Konami would necessarily care about. There are still cards that can hit them without being affected by actually being high levels.
