While I don't like Pyrorex, the deck I have in mind would probably be a good place for it. I'll keep it in mind if there is room!

I have a love/hate thing with Pyrorex. Love that he is a pseudo-RoD, hate that they nerfed him so much. Love having a deck that can play him, hate seeing him in hand since that deck seems to load the grave faster then I draw him.

There is no love for him for me. The Burn decks I tend to gravitate toward just benefit from him because many of my best aren't Aggro Burn. They sit there and stall, so losing a Battle Phase to Rex going down isn't something I would perceive as a loss very often, if ever.

Many of your best don't actually have fire attribute monsters either.

Ursiel: That is an irony, but it is true. I meant to only have that refer to my FIRE Burn decks of the past... I really wanna do a WMC and Clocken Deck..any ideas? I can't tell you how many times I've tried this, only for it to never get off the ground... If you want to give it a go, I can say that there are a number of ways to go with it. The first would be to use Foolish Burial to try to dump one, then focus on Graceful Revival/Call of the Haunted with Inferno Reckless Summon to assemble multiples. You could also have Solar Flare Dragon to be another great Call target with IRS, and to open up Blaze Fenix possibilities in the Extra. Gadget Driver would let you switch Clockens summoned in these ways to Defense right away so they can get Counters ASAP, and a Defense Position Boarden or two can't hurt. Morphtronic Map could also bring Clocken back, and you can destroy it yourself with goodness like Double Cyclone. I've built the deck both on and off-theme, but it's just never come together. However, Machina Peacekeeper could help Clocken live as long as you want by replacing itself... but, I don't know if that is consistent. Gearframe might be better anyway because its Level gives more access to Gear Gigant X. Even Machine Assembly Line is an easy way to get Clocken back.

I was thinking stumbling with monster removal..like the golem sentry/swarm of scarabs to keep clocken safe..with card guard.
But blaze pheonix irs seems like a solid test.

I worry that the PACMAN monsters are too reactive to really do a good enough job. Card Guard's a good idea, but Stumbling is generally too terrible a draw late in duels for me to be able to support that. Stumbling is mega-vulnerable, too. Something like Gadget Driver, while not immediately reusable, would be ready for you whenever you get Clocken going, as opposed to Stumbling, which can get hit with MST or something in response to you summoning Clocken, leaving it in Attack Position. I'd have to see a build... And, my Blaze Fenix deck (adapted from a concept Ursiel first showed me) is a mighty pile of annoying fun. That's one of my favorite cards right there.

HAHAHA! Thanks, that is a great deck. Blaze Fenix is mean as hell in traditional too.

Ive tried and tried again..I cannot seem to get it to flow correctly. Off to another idea.. Maybe I can rework Paraleclipse That's what happens. WMClocken seems like a common-sense good idea, but in practice, there's not enough to tie them together. I truly don't know if there's a way to resolve that issue. As for ParalEclipse, I'm not even going to post it here until the list comes up. Over the past four or five days, I've been getting the feeling that the list is going to do something that could change that deck drastically. This point in the format is when I would stop building new stuff anyway and just wait and see. I have two different versions built, but I wouldn't change more than a card or two here and there until I know what's about to happen, because like I said, I think big things are coming.

Most people are expecting the 15th or 16th.

That seems reasonable enough. As far as I'm concerned, since many Burn decks need to be able to adapt to the meta around them, new Burn concepts should probably wait until then. I have new ideas sitting around, but I'll need to make sure they will be usable for more than four weeks to come before I could justify posting them. I will settle for putting up my current PACMAN build!
