As I am typing this, the guys at GG are trying to port the entire forum history and member base to the new location. Which will mean all of your username info, post count and other valuable info will be saved and simply moved as soon as we can figure the details out. In the event that this does not occur, the Administration will move to the new forum to help launch. Just to be sure, without seeming oblivious: Will we be moving on without this being possible? I am almost positive that the data here will not be carried over. It is not a built in feature on proboards, and for good reason, so the only option would be to collect the data 'manually', and then import it into the new DB structure of phpBB. Only other option would be to code a very smart scraper. Though don't blame these guys for it, as it is really out of their hands. |

Oh, there's no blame cast here. I was just wondering if the new forum being up means that this won't be possible after all. We can start it over yet again as long as that new home does build on the existing member base, so that's not too big a concern.

I don't think there is any way around that because proboards doesn't allow it's data to be exported.

Ouch. GG forums seem to have a lot of spam bots.. Yah. I thought the forums were active at first glance, but then I realized it was all just spam bots. Also, the Dota in Dota 2 doesn't stand for Defense of the Ancients. |

For the trading section, it will be pretty easy to copy and paste the reference list from this forum correct?
I don't want to go through losing the trading references from another forum again.
