Keeping with the familiarity is a very smart move. Makes the move easier for the membership already here. Got a question will there be a system similar to what TCGplayer used to have in tracking references for trades? Eventually, depending on variables still undetermined.

Are people still waiting for iTrader on phpBB? I have a phpBB, but it's not yugioh or sales related so I never looked for iTrader, but I remember back in the day people really wanted that MOD.

Since the forum is secondary to the store, it would depend on cost and member turnout, cost, and other factors that would arise if we have to program it in vs simply upgrading to a version with it. Beyond that there could be more factors but I'm personally uncertain what they could be.

Good point, I guess we don't know yet how active this place will become. Is it just going to be people from TCG Rev there to start? Or is there more of a user base?

We are hoping our content(blogs, videos articles and potential contests plus the store itself) in addition to our facebook page will attract more members, but this group is port of our base, yes.

Once again our TCGR family is moving. I assume Gamer Gen will be a big step forward in developing the revival of TCGPlayer core family. As you know already, your completing with DN/POJO and your future members need a reason to stay. Which I assume you guys have that planned already. None the less; I will still stick with you guys till the very end.

Made a lot of good friends on both this and the previous site. I am not going anywhere.

If only we could reach some of the other TCGplayers we didn't get on here. Hopefully the transition is problem-free, I'm a bit excited actually. It may just be the activity jump we needed.

Hopefully we can net a bunch of the quality members back with the youtube/twitch channels since we can't advertise on tcgplayers page without appearing like a spambot.

Will you be doing an affiliate program? I would suggest possibly becoming affiliates with yugioh forums that are more niche. ex advertise on a YGO Role Play forum, or one of the "Duel Academy" forums. Places like that are similar enough to get members from, but different enough someone could be a member to both without too much redundancy. Also I plan to release a YGO website/channel/apps starting in early 2015, if you want to affiliate, sub4sub, ect., I think cross promotion is a good thing.

Not a bad idea.
I am going to start posting links to the Gamer's Genesis youtube channel on other forums. Hopefully that can attract more people in for the new site.

That's in the work for numerous communities ranging from everything from YGO sites, to Gaming Clans to D&D Communities. ----- Update, Forum and Server issues have been mostly resolved. We go live in a week. Will provide link here and on Facebook Page.

So between helping the GG guys with Anaheim, purchasing 3 cases and doing videos (Plus, you know, life) we haven't been able to totally finish the forum. With that said, we are looking for people to help us fill in the blank pages. As such, here is the Forum link (For you guys only minus Soup who already found us ) "deleted until further notice" It's unfinished but we have begun filling in the Yugioh Section. We need help with other sections and getting things up and running. Please feel free to drop by sign up and help us out.
