Not sure if you are aware of this, but the link you have provided is often broken. For example, right now it does not work- giving a DNS error. I have seen a lot of this over the last few weeks. Sometimes you get through, sometimes not.
I also noticed "deleted until further notice" will sometimes be available where "deleted until further notice" does not. Do you know which link is intended to be used?

I registered up by using this link "deleted until further notice".
Only issue is I can't seem to login.

Forum. link isn't supposed to be accessible any more, will pass this along and have it resolved by tomorrow. bystander the forum. link is not the one we're using. Try logging in via the link above.

I can't believe it took all this time and you guys are using phpbb. Admittedly, I agree with this. I just didn't want to be the first to say it it seems GG is using stock phpBB and stock mezzanine CMS, over two different links, one of which is very slow to connect (blogs) and one that is constantly giving DNS errors. Given the "hype" and of course the time taken, I was expecting ground up customized work. When GG was revealed, I just figured that I had overestimated based on my bias, that is that I am a seasoned web developer. I can say from experience, the time it's taken could have led to much more had it been in the hands of more technically capable developers. I have very casually been working on a YGO website which I plan to launch next year, and it already has a custom layout, CMS, deck builder, card import(into a card database), and a number of other things I don't want to reveal, all of which is easily innergradble into phpBB (which I also plan to use- albeit heavily modified). I am not sure what is causing the errors on GG, but I do hope that they are resolved soon, as the one thing this group seems to really have going for it is really talented duelists, who understand the game and are passionate about the game. That is THE reason I am still staying tuned to this thread.

I can't believe it took all this time and you guys are using phpbb. same idea, but different people spearheading it. phpbb saves us time until we get other factors running. Soup: We do plan to modify just this issue of not having a site up was beginning to form a pattern. We have an operational forum running now and the few dns issues we seem to be seeing in select members accounts (BFg mentioned the problem and ive been having recurring issues at certain times of day) are being slowly but surely resolved. While I understand the disappointment about the look, do remember we did ask for your help and one point and things looked rosy then, till you opted not to continue assisting in our build. Atleast our GG team is staying together and systematically moving forward, setbacks maybe, but no dead stops.

Yes, I do remember. And don't take what I have said as complaining, just not what I had expected. I thought merging/assimilating into the other site would have had seen a bigger push now with bigger team size. I do respect your acknowledgment of a pattern, and the drive to end it. I certainly do not doubt your resolve, and hope only the best for GG.

Forgive my tone, im just quite tired of naysayers to our cause, and when reading your reply I assumed you were one of them. thank you all for your continued support and patience. we are working hard to have a "full opening" of your forum in the coming days.

Site should be working now, GG decided to go with forum.gamersgenesis.com/ over the other one after reading some of the comments on here. Apologies for the confusion, I'm somewhat in the same boat.

Just to be sure, are we allowed to use that link now? Yoh mentioned (in the chat box) it was too early and to stay off GG for now until the server is ready to handle it.

As I am typing this, the guys at GG are trying to port the entire forum history and member base to the new location. Which will mean all of your username info, post count and other valuable info will be saved and simply moved as soon as we can figure the details out. In the event that this does not occur, the Administration will move to the new forum to help launch. Just to be sure, without seeming oblivious: Will we be moving on without this being possible?
