The HEROs have returned, and this is my current test build. I imagine it'll undergo a lot of changes, but it's pretty solid so far.
1.0
1.5
1.6
1.8
1.9 (Current Built)
Shadow Mist has great synergy with Call of the Haunted and Phoenix Wing. I can Mask Change or Miracle Fusion into a lot of options and stuns. And it all meshes pretty well.
3 Neos Alius
3 Bubbleman
3 Shadow Mist
1 Summoner Monk
3 A Hero Lives
1 Book of Moon
2 Emergency Call
2 Gemini Spark
3 Mask Change
2 Mask Charge
3 Miracle Fusion
2 Pot of Duality
1 Reinforcements of the Army
1 Bottomless Trap Hole
3 Call of the Haunted
1 Evacuation Device
3 Phoenix Wing Wind blast
1 Solemn Warning
2 Wiretap
Extra Deck
2 Absolute Zero
1 Escurido
1 Shining
2 Acid
2 Dark Law
2 Koga
1 Abyss Dweller
1 Avian Skyblaster
1 Blade Armor Ninja
1 Exciton
1 Honor ARK.
bystander I think you want to see this.

To help understand what this deck needs for consistency of the opening hand and opening plays, I’ve decided to play 10 singles in TCG/OCG Rated on Dueling Network.
Game One
Win RPS, go first.
I open Mask Change, an E-Call, and backrow.
It’s a mirror match, and I have better backrow, better plays. Blade Armor and Dark Law clean house and I win without taking damage.
1-0
Game Two
Lose RPS, go second.
Opponent is running a Monarch/Tribute strat as he opens March of the Monarchs a face-down monster, a face-down S/T, and Necrovalley. I’m thinking Gravekeeper’s Spy facedown. My turn, I push Alius and it’s a set Ambusher. He goes Rite of Spirit and normal summons Heiratic. I spark Necrovalley on attack, but suffer two direct attacks.
I however drop ABS0 and Castel to clear his field and run over things. Pretty quickly win from there.
2-0
Game Three
Lose RPS, go second.
Opponent is playing LS Dragon Sworn, and going first before I can get a Dark Law going. Phoenix Wing delays a JD a turn. Or so I think until my opponent gets it right back with Recharge. ABS0 Nuke and Honor ARK almost save me. But there are too many JDs and Dragon Rulers flying around. Until I topdeck BUBBLEMAN WITH NO CARDS. His draw 2 turns the game thanks to Exciton and some Mask Charge plays. COMEBACK TIME!
3-0
Monk almost proved a dead draw. Bubbleman proves to be a saving grace.
-1 Summoner Monk
+1 Bubbleman
Game Four
Win RPS, go first.
Open AHL into Shadow Mist into Mask Change.
Set Mask Change and a pair of PWWB.
Mask Change chain to MST, he goes Monk and gets Bubbleman and Mask Change Second’s it, PWWB Bubbleman. Opponent rage quits the duel.
4-0
Game Five
Lose RPS, go second.
Opponent is playing Star Seraphs, and I opened badly with 3 monsters (Shadow Mist, Monk, Bubble) and a pair of CotH. Not good.
I OTK him on my second turn.
5-0
Game Six
Win RPS, go first.
Open poorly on a level even worse than the last game.
Opponent opens poorly as well with Shaddolls and Dark Law swings the game in my favour.
6-0
Game Seven
Win RPS, go first.
AHL into Shadow Mist. Dark Law crushes Beelze zombies.
7-0
Game Eight
Win RPS, go first.
Worst hand I’ve had yet.
Against LS. Things look bleak, and I make my first big missplay of the day as well.
First loss of the day. Damn.
7-1
Game Nine.
Win RPS, go first.
Make Dark Law and my opponent scoops. He was running LS.
8-1
Game Ten.
Win RPS, go first.
Dark Law is a god against Lightsworn, which the OCG/TCG area is filled with.
Opponent almost makes a comeback with Exciton, I chain CED, and my opponent is under the impression that it actually negates exciton, before I can explain it doesn’t he says “suck m ydick” and rage quits the duel. That’s a freebie I guess.
9-1
Conclusion: Opening hands for this deck are quite solid. The topdeck/comeback potential is near unlimited for the occasional bad hand or sub par hand.
