(1)Breakthrough is better in this deck for a few reasons. #1, it can get a second use, while only on your turn, it is good against things like Mechquipped, Zenmaines, Honor Ark, anything that protects itself. Also usable against Moraltach and crew. #2, Treeborn frog kind of needs you to control no S/T. And Shad is taking this deck the treeborn route. (2)Nimble and Hyena are interesting ideas, but not so much for a frog deck. They would find a better home in a Schooled Monarch deck. They also need to die by battle which is annoying. (3)Why take out LaDD? It's a solid card for this deck. Annoying as hell to play around without losing a lot of cards to do so. (4) You gave no reasons for any fix, this generally means they will be ignored or you'll be asked to explain your reasoning. |

Btw yall, the goal of this deck is to sit on majesty's fiend or Ladd for as long as possible..forcing the opponent to use their outs to get around them..which are far and few between in most decks. I really wanna main 1 more ladd was thinking of cutting 1 raiza for it. March works better in another variant of monarchs not the treeborn route Nimble would be great if I were to run march of the schooled monarchs..which I might work on later. Drill-thanks for saying most of that for me! |

I'd cut Dark Dust Spirit in favour of another LaDD for a couple reasons. DDS isn't that good at the moment, sure he can clear fields, but, your opponent is using hands. So. Have fun. Also, a large number of monsters are just floaters or protect themselves. And finally, I just dislike the way he leaves you open to attack. (2) Since we both agree LaDD/Majesty's Fiend are the core of the deck here, let's make it easier to get them. I'd vote for working in another Pot of Duality, or maybe a Cardcar D/3rd Maxx "C". You don't have enough Water monsters for Moray of Greed, and I wouldn't advise Upstart in this meta due to Soul Charge shenanigans. |

Swap DDS for LaDD then, see if you NEED to hit Majesty/LaDD faster after that.

Thoughts on the other half of the Fiend? Vanity's Fiend can just win you the game vs some decks, especially when protected.
Reckless Greed could be an acceptable Draw engine, since you will either chain it to their MST/destruction effect, or use it during your own draw/standby phase, still keeping Treebo live. The missed turns don't matter as much when you have a lockdown.
