How about maybe Fiend's Sanctuary? Could instantly gut a tributed card down.
And maybe Jinzo? You're only running two traps, it could contribute greatly to a lockdown. And, since Jinzo's effect isn't actually activated, just continuous, it still works with Majesty's Fiend on the field.

well breakthrough is easily used..and reused after the fact.
I still need search power..and possibly a new tribute engine..any ideas?

Ghostricks are one to try out, I gave you the link to my Zero Ex Monarch deck in the monarch discussion thread. You can used that as a jumping off base.
Jingahsi searches, Mary special summons form the deck, and Specter special summons from hand when a trick is destroyed + you get a draw for doing so too.

Looking past the stated goal of the deck, why no return of the monarchs. Again "search when you summon" seems so good.Barring that why not reckless and upstart/reckless and legacy and accumulated?

I would need to alter the engine for return of the monarchs. Thats why im looking into ghostricks now.

I run Return of the Monarchs with Ghostricks. The deck can thin like crazy. Got to be careful with it though.
Return of monarchs also stops extra deck plays, which I think you want.

PoD would be the best option for monarch decks. Choose what you need according to the situation.
