I'm kinda hyped for that new Fire Lake of the Burning Abyss. If the current stuff is of any indication, we can expect a bunch of great stuff to come. We might even be forced to not play 3 of each BA maindeck monster. XD
Here are some decent discussion topics: - PWWB is almost always an auto-in, but what do you prefer more? Raigeki Break or Karma Cut? Why that or if you like both, why both? - Other discard outlets? Back to Square One, Dark Core, Dark Smog, Lightning Vortex, Dark World Dealings - How many Mathematician? Foolish Burial to go with them? Any Felice if Maths are involved? - Exodius? Recycling your floaters for another run can be rather useful. - Rank-Up or not to Rank-Up? Affects Extra Deck construction greatly. - Supply Squad or more immediate impact cards? Like Upstart Goblin? - What Chaos Monsters do you use? Do you just use BLS-EotB? Or use a Chaos Sorcerer or two? - What Monarchs do you use and why? Main or side or some in either? - Some like certain floodgates over others. What are yours, if any? Which would you NOT play? - Hand Traps, they can't kill your BA maindeck monsters, so they have that going for them. What do you main or side? - How do you fight the floodgates mained or sided in g2/3? Examples are Shadow-Imprisoning, Soul Drain, Vanity's Emptiness, Different Dimension Ground and its banishing Continuous counterparts, etc.

According to the story, we still need the following characters printed as cards: Beatrice, Virgil, and Lucifer. I'm also really hyped for Fire Lake.
I prefer Phoenix Wing and Karma Cut for main deck discard outlets. Dark Smog is an amazing side card.
I like the ratio of 2 Mathematician and 1 Foolish Burial.
Exodius is a REALLY promising card, it's only major downside being it can be super poly'd.
Rank-Up is a must at the moment, until the build of the deck changes with the new support to come.
I don't like Supply Squad for this deck (as it is now). Too slow & cloggy. Also, I've never really liked Upstart Goblin.
I just use BLS-EotB.
I use Raiza for spin to add on to the PWWB silliness, and because it cannot presently be used as a Super Poly target for dolls. Currently main decking 2, might cut it down to 1 to reduce clog.
Not really fond of Vanity's Emptiness. I like Non-Fusion Area (dolls are presently the hardest match-up for this archetype).
I side 2 Veiler and 2 Flying C. Each has their uses in certain match-ups.
2 MST in the main, 1 in the side, and 2 Fairy Wind.
Also, really love Mischief of the Yokai for disruption on rank dependent (Stellar, the mirror, etc) decks.

Well, there is Divine Wrath, but it isn't good against dolls, so yeah.
I don't think Rank-Up is a must. There was this one guy, I think he's in the top 100 on dn (for whatever that's worth -_-) runs no rank up. Its just more power play, but I favor consistency; it isn't needed to win. That's why I wouldn't use BLS either. Actually, that's just my play style I suppose; I rarely tech stuff, just stick to bread-and-butter, unless its a hybrid type build.
I think 1 Raiza is better than 2
I'd use Upstart, but not everyone likes it, so yeah.
Idk about mst, its just for floodgates, which appear g2, which should be sided in automatically. You could use xyz universe for xyz decks, but then it affects side-deck construction, which isn't something you'd want...

So, Virgil info has been leaked. 2500 ATK 1000 DEF Light Spellcaster/Synchro Effect: Can only control one. Once per turn you can discard 1 Burning Abyss Monster to target one card on your opponent's field, or grave; shuffle it into the deck. If this card would be destroyed and sent to grave, draw one card (can only use this effect once per turn).

The last part of the text is a bit confusing... if it would be... it means that if it would be destroyed but it isn't or if it is destroyed and sent do the grave?

The last part of the text is a bit confusing... if it would be... it means that if it would be destroyed but it isn't or if it is destroyed and sent do the grave? So you can't use Call of the Haunted or something to spam the effect.

That's how I'm looking at that. Access to a generic Level 6, not to mention, depending on how good the Tuner is, we have access to all the other Level 6 Synchros!
And Crane Crane might just see play because of that! It revives the Tuner and you make any of these Extra Deck fellas. Virglin has a decent effect too. Having built in discarding effects into the theme gives the deck a bit more possibilities. And with each new addition to the BA family, the Trap card becomes that much better.

Naw, it's effectively as though it is written as "When this card is destroyed" with no difference since both are mandatory.

I haven't loved a deck this much since early spellbooks. Fun to play, and good. Just wish I had the Dante's I need IRL. I bought one online and got burned unfortunately. Loving playing the deck online though. I have been playing around with tour bus to forbidden realms + lava golem. Scarm->Tour Bus->Lava Golem. It can be a life saver at times against pedulums. I played the Triple Apex Pendulum, and Triple Apoqliphort Killer Pendulm. Lava Golem to tribute two off, Pleiades returns Golem to my hand, then tribute off the third + another monster, with a next turn burn to boot.

Well, that certainly is a unique approach to the matter. Tour Bus to the Forbidden Realms has some other hilarious options, but Lava Golem is certainly on the forefront of that selection for some ideas. Maybe it can be a side-deck thing later?
But the new maindeck BAs are certainly gonna start to cause some to consider the ratios of all 6 of them not including the possibly better Trap card and the upcoming (what seems to sound like a) Spell Card. So idk if the deck has room for the Bus Golem gimmick then.

Yeah, if the archetype starts getting more cards, there will be less room for tech.. and I am very much okay with that Only new cards I'm expecting is virgil and a tuner. Is there other info leaked?

Other than knowing there'll be 2 more maindeck BAs and something called Fire Lake of the Burning Abyss (that sounds like a Spell), nothing just yet.
