Probably. The last person was let go for theft, so it makes sense that they would be more cautious.
Anywho, we had a secret shopper in the store today. I noticed her at the service desk getting lackluster service from one of the service girls and a new hardlines associate. Normally I would have turned the other way and take my chances of getting hit later on. Not today though. I went right up and engaged the secret shopper, answered her questions as best I could, showed her how to order online and have the item shipped to the store to avoid shipping costs and discussed her concerns with the security of our kiosk (personally I think it's more secure than my home computer, but I've had Comcast out several times for illegal splicing).
Now here's where it got interesting. She asked for some paper and a pen and I obliged. She wrote a note about the customer service I gave her. Usually they e-mail their reports to corporate and then they get sent to the store manager. I don't remember exactly what she wrote, but she describe me as "polite, friendly, knowledgeable and patient" and called me "an asset to the company". But the last line was the best; "do not lose him!"
I wish you guys could have seen the look on my manager's face when I handed him the sheet of printer paper. It was priceless.

I've got to admit, I'm pretty proud of myself for leaning as much as I have over last few weeks. I've been trying to get more up-to-date with my webdesign. It used to be such a passion of mine when I was in High School / a bit after. But once I started working I focused on back end development then desktop applications (both for work). Every year for the last few I've been practicing web design less and less every year. But the last few Weeks I have been practicing HTML5/CSS3 Frameworks(primarily bootstrap), and some javascript frameworks as well. Picked up a few books, skimmed, then went right into practicing. I just finished a browser based deck editor which was a fun web app to build. Considering next doing some type of game.

Not sure if this was the best place for this...
A couple of nights ago, a buddy and I picked up a lot of product. As we settled down to open them at our University Centre (one of our local meeting areas since we don't really have a store), before we dug in, one of the club members that is involved with what is basically our geek clubs asked if anyone we knew were missing a deckbox of yugioh cards. We both said we can't remember any in the past little while, but when they pointed at it in the room and I saw what it was, I was inexplicably excited.
I asked if I can confirm the contents and lo and behold, it was my old double deck box with a bunch of deck cores in them. I have been missing these for over half a year and thought I would never see them again. I even tore through my room trying to find it to no avail. I've already accepted the fact I would never see them again, mainly because around the same time I lost them I also hit up a Regionals far away from my hometown so I thought that's where I lost them (I might've shared this too). But now they are here again. Sure, most of it was relatively janky to some folks, but to me it had some of my favourite cards/decks:
-Roids -Jinzos (with NECE coming in January, this was one of the better things to be recovered) -Alien -Amazoness -Archfiend (some of the older stuff) -Plenty of Machine cards and strategies like Black Salvo, Super Defense Robo, Flying Fortress SKYFIRE, etc. besides Roids/Jinzo -Sky Scourge Norleras (and my missing Recurring Nightmares)
Just to name a few.
So while my buddy got new cards, I found my old ones, so it was a pretty good day.
On the note of his pulls, two of his Deluxe Editions pulled nearly identical foils. At one point he pulls Stellarnova Alpha then SCR Baxia, while at the same time I open one of his other ones and pull SCR Baxia then Alpha. We thought that too coincidental. Though he did lament he could've pulled Dante, he figures he still ended up getting the value out of all the stuff he opened, and Baxias will also just go up when NECH drops and possibly push YZs to be a better deck.

YZs are a pretty bamf deck right now. Just need the right build.
But that is great that you found your "lost" cards. There are some decent people left in this world.

It's not like that club had any ygo players outside of my group, so if they held on to it, it was of no risk of disappearing, at least in the logical sense.

Yeah but there are players who would have just kept it for themselves, either try to trade the stuff off or sell it.
The fact this person held onto it with the intent on returning it to it owner was the thing I liked the most. Props to that dude.
