Okay, call me crazy. But opinions on side decking Banisher of the Radiance in some of the more trap heavy builds of inzektors? Also, this is the build I piloted to first place in our first tournament.

I think the Caius is the most surprising thing your deck Drillwarrior. SO far I've gotten 1 Full House in the main, only gone against a Mermail deck since doing that and it came up after I had already taken care of most the back row they had.

Agreed, I think I'll cut caius next time. He was AMAZING in one or two games, but didn't prove consistent and I found myself siding him out game two.
Opinions on side decking Banisher of the Radiance?

That is something that would require testing extensively. Mostly cause it is more Macro and D-Fissure was always the go to banish card for Inzektors.

I fail to see why they would run Macro. It hurts them extensively because it banishes their hornet.

That's what I was getting at Banisher is just like Macro. With D-Fissure the spells and equipped Inzektors would still hit grave, as would the Inzektors used as Xyz material.

It's level 3 though, so it can be gone pretty fast. Either the opponent nukes it because it's stopping them from going off, or you can xyz with it.

And the fastest way to turn it into an Xyz will be by summoning an Inzektor itself, unless you managed to have Tour Guide at the ready. Using it with an Inzektor ends up with you losing out on its own effect just the same.

Okay no hits to Inzektors for the upcoming format, even with the semi-popular status it gained over the last 3 months. Any new ideas? My current test build the wife has dubbed "Use it and Lose it" based on the explained theory-oh. Idea is that I have a bunch of 1 for 1 trade-off type cards, and with the added Myrmeleo I have another easy way to get some added S/T destruction in.

Back to an Imitation build I see? How are you finding that testing? I thought you were disliking it.

Right now its just theory, haven't had a chance to play it yet. The idea though is that negated Inzektors (the level 3s) can actually be used with an Imitation now to get a Myrmeleo and pop a back row. I'm hoping I like it more, and definitely that I see it more, than I did previously. Part of the decision happened because my Dualitys went into Nurse Burn for now and I hate swapping cards between decks.

Just don't run this in the April tournament

But why? /end whiny voice
I just thought that the blind MST (will always happen) on a CotH really needed a good response target like plants have with Dandylion. They MST the CotH, I chain targeting Myrmeleo, it gets SS'd, triggers effect and waits to resolve. (pretty sure this works anyway, someone correct me if I'm wrong)

It works. You can chain COTH on Myrm and get a pop. (Fun trick) Because then we'll have had inzektors 3 tournaments in a row. I think people would appreciate a break. Or we could BOTH run inzeks. Really make people mad....

That last bit sounds like the most fun actually.
