Hi. I have a deck that is based on drawing using card effects and then discarding them using Snipe Hunter's effect to destroy cards on the field. My question is, are there cards that can give me advantage alongside such effects? Like Solemn Wishes. Except it just gives LP, which I'm not interested in. I know there are Fableds, but they aren't splashable, I don't want my deck to revolve around some new thing. Just draw, discard, activation of monster effects.

You want a deck that revolves around drawing and discarding to use monster effects?
Cut Snipe Hunter, just run Dark World. :S Because you described them perfectly.

A unique idea pertaining to Snipe Hunter would also be using Darkworld support and also using Forced Requisition. Of course in order to activate Forced Requisition, you would need to have the last thing happening in the game state be the discarding of a card, so DWDealings would meet this requirement (of course you wouldn't be able to apply the continuous effect of Forced Requisition when it was first activated since its continuous effect didn't actually see the discarding). After that though every time you discarded to activate an effect like Snipe Hunter's, Forced Requisition would force your opponent to discard from thier hand immediately every time you discarded.
It's a multi-card combo though, and can be difficul to set up since the activation requirement is very picky.

The nice thing about that Requisition combo with snipe is you have Magic Planter to utilize more blanket eff cards. Soul Drain, Vanity's, Imperial Custom, etc. Also then sets up Otks with Uria by discarding dead Cont. Traps.
But yeah Dark World best suits your description.

Thanks guys, Forced sounds perfect. Of course, Snipe Hunter doesn't work with all Dark World cards, as they rely on it to be an effect discard, not a cost. However...my deck runs only 9 monsters: 3 Snipe Hunter, 3 Worm Linx, and 3 Des Lacooda. It is extremely consistent, and it is quite powerful. Forced would deal a lot more damage, I imagine. each time I use Snipe Hunter, the opponent would lose 1-2 cards, and coupled with the draw engine...its gg. I draw so hard, I get the cards I want, and the rest is ammo for Snipe.
Funny, a lot of people think its Exodia when I draw like crazy, and even when I drop Hunter, they usually don't get it. LOLOLOL.

LOLOLOL. Fabled Requisition.dek? I just looked it up, that Snipe Hunter's effect won't trigger the activation of Requisition, because the discard isn't the last thing to happen. Kinda obscure. But it won't work, unless I draw until I have over 6, then discard. Which I won't do. Any others? I know Fabled Hunter is one thing, but I want to just add something splashable, not make a different deck. The current setup runs well, I just wanted to add some muscle in there.

maybe a few Dark world dealings, Grapha, and Snoww should all you need.
Discard allows you to utilize the DW monsters and get all goodness of the effects they have.

I was looking for something that gets its eff off as a cost though. It wouldn't run synergetically. I think maybe there is no such thing...meh. I might just , add Fossil Dyna or something as filler, as I don't special summon at all, and would hurt my opponent a lot.

Well, yeah discarding for the cost to activate an effect won't satisfy Requisition, since as soon as the cost is paid the game state immediately recognizes that the activation of an effect is the current/latest action in the game state. What I was getting at was that having card effects activated as the first chain link whose effects resolution end in an discard, like Dark World Dealings. If you pull up the wiki and look under the sub-categories for DWD there should be a link to a list of cards that have an effect that discards your opponents cards. For instance even something like Depth Amulet which has an effect that does use the chain and does satisfy both Requisition initial activation requirement and will also trigger Darkworld and Fabled monsters as well. Add in Imperial Custom and DEpth Amulet can't even destroy itself, which goes back to what JerkJerk said earlier making Magic Planter better. Dark World Lightning's effect also sets off Requisition as does Dark Smog, I believe and Dark Deal. Be pretty funny to have Requisition active and discard Fabled Catsith to activate Snipe's effect. Could even throw in Dark Scheme just because your opponent may not want you to draw and will opt to disard, even though Dark Scheme won't satisfy Requisition's activation requirement, an already active Requisition will still force them to discard either way, for a cost or effect. Trance Archfiend would satisfy Requisition and DW and would be a good key monster to help set a lot of combos up.

Thanks guys for the help. I've Chosen to add staples as filler, the deck really runs strong now- I've had a string of wins, even against former bad matchups-and netdeck requests, lol. Its all good now. #1 ranked on DN, here I come!

Why draw, why not search them out?

Why draw, why not search them out? I was trying to find good searchers for snipe hunter and worm linx, but I can't find any. They're too slow. Something like reinforcement of the army or something would be really good, as it would give me what I need and thin the deck, resulting in a higher probablility of getting the other needed pieces.
