40 Cards 20 Monsters 3 Artifact Moraltach 1 Artifact Scythe 3 Caius the Shadow Monarch 3 Ghostrick Jiangashi 2 Ghostrick Lantern 3 Ghostrick Mary 3 Ghostrick Spectre (Ghostrick Specter) 2 Raiza the Storm Monarch 13 Spells 1 Allure of Darkness 2 Artifact Ignition 1 Dark Hole 2 Mystical Space Typhoon 1 Pot of Dichotomy 2 Pot of Duality 1 Recurring Nightmare 3 Soul Exchange (Going out for Monarchs Storm Forth once it comes out) 7 Traps 3 Artifact Sanctum 2 Call of the Haunted 2 Wiretap
Deck stalls and controls board really easily. I'm looking to flesh it out maindeck wise before I work on the side. The extra in this isn't really worth noticing, it has a few R5, 6, 1, and 3s. But it never really summons any of them.

Why CotH? I think that spot could be better used.

Why CotH? I think that spot could be better used. Tribute fodder for Monarchs, xyz materials, and the AMAZING synergy with the Artifact monsters. It summons them on the opponent's turn enabling a destroy, or a prevent summoning.

Very good points indeed. Thought on Monarch March?

Decent idea. I don't think I rely enough on the Monarchs/run enough to make it useful though.
I did some more testing though, and CotH is very good, WHEN you have an Artifact in graveyard. Otherwise it's meh. Also finding Artifact Ignition's effect to set an Artifact from deck incredibly unhelpful.
So that's 2-4 cards I'm thinking about cutting. Any ideas on what to replace them with?

Perhaps Metal Reflect Slime? I know it sounds terrible, but since most MSTs or MST effects are sided, and won't be brought in since you play Artifacts, it's a nice wall and tribute fodder.

Not really feeling that for this deck.
I'd like more control cards maybe. Debating adding a 3rd Ghostrick Lantern, I find it a nice card. Also helps keep Recurring Nightmare live.

Sweet monarch deck Drill.
Dichthomy seems like a good choices but takes away attacks similar to how Soul Charge would do it.
Could run 2 Charge instead of PoDi and Recurring Nightmare. Opens up a lot more possibilities especially from the extra.

Opens up a lot more possibilities especially from the extra. Such a bad idea on so many levels sorry. Dichotomy taking away attacks isn't a big deal, this deck doesn't need to spam attacks to win. Also, Soul Exchange does it as well and everyone thinks it's a great card. (don't understand the logic here) Soul Charge vs Dichotomy though. On Soul Charge's side we have, spam for a ton of xyz and stuff that I don't really need/use anyways, lose a ton of life for a rank 1 xyz with little power, don't reset the ghostrick engine, don't reset Artifact Sanctum, STILL skip battle phase. On Pot of Dichotomy's side we have. Resets the Ghostrick/Artifact engine's monsters to deck to make the most of Mary and Sanctum, doesn't cost me life, is almost always live anyways just like Charge, also skips battle phase just like Charge, doesn't conflict with Pot of Duality, doesn't cause me to lose life points. On Recurring Nightmare's side we have, resets the Ghostrick Lanter/Spectre engine which is AMAZING, doesn't skip BP or cause me to lose life, in fact it protects me from losing life. In this deck, Pot of Dichotomy at one is far superior to Soul Charge. Charge just isn't a good card for this deck. It's meant for game winning massive fields that your opponent can't push past on their next turn or that lock the opponent. This deck doesn't try to do that, this deck controls slowly and gains +1s.
