So, I took out the reckless Greeds and a Seven Tools, and added 2 Nightmare's Steelcage and a MST and a Dimensional Fissure. It works even better than before, from preliminary testing. You see, there are a minimum number of cards needed to function properly; adding more drawing and deck thinning cards won't remedy that. I noticed that my stall-monster ratio on opening hands got better; I was running too little before, it was too lean. Dimensional Fissure is for stopping those effects that activate in the grave mainly (i used to have 2 anti sp summoners on the field to remedy the fire hands-kill one, take a hit, but they cant regenerate). But also for those matchups I can't win without those cards (I was thinking of siding them, actually) like Mermail and Prophecy (Noble knights are tough, but I think I have a plan in terms of changing my play style). Because I've gotten such good results without much thought with these changes, I think there is still a way to make this deck even better than it was before. I'm thinking -MST, +Seven Tools, or something...

More trap negation would probably work really well against heavy backrow. Against mermails, you might have to side out non-chainables for chainables since Atlantean infantry and marksman are alway a threat.

Bit surprised no one mentioned Royal Prison. Neither Player can Special Summon from the graveyard. There's also Summon Limit and Summon Breaker. For some more graveyard control there is Forbidden Graveyard. Find that a bit fun to use when Artifacts play Mav. Catastrophy. I think I'll try to make a proto Floodgate deck and see if it can help.

I dont reallyyyyy need dimensional fissure, so I took that out. Actually, I'm at the point where I'm having trouble thinking of what to add, instead of take out. For siding against mermails, chainables only last a turn, my deck style is reliant on long term stall. I usually have a continuous trap stall set, and use a spell stall; siding could be better used a different way. As for Royal Prison, I used to run it, but it was a dead card a lot of the time because I rely on Jowgen/Fossil- but it would work well in many other decks, I imagine. And one more thing- Anyone know any really powerful effects/cards? As they would contribute to control and winning in a big way (cost is irrelevant). I mean, really overwhelming effects. For example, Worm Linx= Pot of Greed each turn. (With Snipe Hunter, its huge destruction) Red Screen- No attacks. Period. Fairy Injection Lily? I haven't ran it yet, but I think it would realllly help me. Instead of needing Honest, just pay 2000LP, its in a single card rather than a 2 card setup. Can do huge damage. (works great with infected mail)

Royal prison works. If you want long term stall against something like mermails, you might want to consider soul drain.

Royal Prison is good for side decking I think, a lot of times people bring out xyz and such, when Royal Prison won't help. Soul Drain is good against mermails, kills them really badly.
