Total: 40
Monsters: 21
3 Dark Simorgh
3 Mist Valley Apex Avian
3 Mist Valley Thunderbird
3 Ninja Grandmaster Hanzo
2 Timegazer Magician
2 Stargazer Magician
2 Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon
2 Artifact Moralltach
1 Artifact Scythe
Spells: 6
3 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Dark Hole
1 Reinforcement of the Army
1 Magic Planter (being tested with Skill Prisoner over a pair of Gazers)
Traps: 13
3 Ninjitsu Art of Transformation
2 Artifact Sanctum
2 Wiretap
2 Dimensional Prison
1 Bottomless Trap Hole
1 Soul Drain
1 Skill Prisoner
1 Breakthrough Skill
Take one part Avian + Thunderbird constant negation, add one part Simorgh to prevent a comeback, throw in a dash of Sanctum to cover surprises, and fun ensues. A single Pendulum Summon can give me a field lock with the right hand, and Pendulum Summoning means I no longer need Hanzo to unleash my dual bosses. That's a big deal, because those bosses, while formidable on their own, are also both Level 7... :m:
This deck has already taken out a HAT deck, winning at 10500 Life Points thanks to my #49. That was without Prisoner and Planter, though. I would expect that I should be able to give that deck a fight more often than not!
...And let's not forget about Anti-Spell Fragrance. That's a great side card, even in a more Trap-heavy environment with Wiretap, because Soul Charge exists. Preventing that allows me to still get going while slowing the opponent to pre-DGLD speed. I like that tradeoff.
