Makes sense seeing as how they both fill the same role of self-protection, but one you can play right away and digs further into the deck.
Cutting Waboku instead of Roar because you don't want battle triggers to go off.

Shad, pick one: Reverse Burn or Final Countdown? Transformational sides should be hilarious.

Then consider Swift Scarecrows/Battle Fader, Mystical Space Typhoon/Wiretap/Bribe (for Decree/Stun), Prohibition, Kuribandit (dig for that Countdown ASAP), Gold Sarcophagus, Lava Golem/Volcanic Queen (for getting rid of central monsters), and obviously Final Countdown.

Think Cardcar would be a good addition, having issues with room though.

Here's the build I made that Dread ripped. It's pretty solid. Also, this is the deck that the "My own worked, but yours was better" in my sig is about.

Should GGH be cut for CCD or Kuriphoton?

I would rather cut it for Kuriphoton, as photon both prevents damage for a turn, and increases the gap for Hope by 1 card.
