Anyone out there play Weiss Schwarz. I know there are a couple local players where I live. I'm pretty hyped about the release of Bakemonogatari in English. So what decks do you folks play if you play?

I want to get into this game eventually, but it's expensive and I have no idea what deck to use. Too many favorite anime.

That does not sound like a viable enough reason to sell all the Yugiohs.

Too many favorite anime. > Sell all your Yugioh Cards > Use all the decks > Get into the Weiss Shwarz 1) Hell no. 2) 1 deck to start, then 1-2 more if I really like the game (same as I did with MTG). 3) Again, I'll pick up the game once I pick a deck to use (and have the money to pay for it).

The emphatic answer on #1 was worth a chuckle.

That does not sound like a viable enough reason to sell all the Yugiohs. As if we need a reason to quit playing this game. WS at least offers kawaii desu moe animu pictures wrapped up in a bubbly package of Vanguard-knockoff "I hope senpai will notice me" inadequacy. I mean, com'on man, signed cards. That's pretty sugoi right there. There's even pansu. And what does the yugiohs have? Dragon Rulers I rest my case.

I guess they Just don't want to embrace their inner otaku. *sigh* You simply aren't otaku enough. Dedicating everything to just one game. >_>

A person doesn't have to be otaku to play a game either. And not everyone likes "kawaii desu moe animu pictures". I far prefer a lot of MTG artworks to that of most other games.

I've thought about playing this, but sadly there's no one who plays in my area. The game is pretty costly too =/.

I would be surprised if anyone in my area even knew what this game is. Our largest TCG group is MTG, then YGO, and Kaijudo is quickly catching up. Beyond that there are a select few that play Legend of the Five Rings and Cardfight Vanguard.

Beyond that there are a select few that play Legend of the Five Rings and Cardfight Vanguard. I still don't know why people even play Vanguard and Kaijudo. The games are overly simplistic and have the competitive pacing of the Dark Strike Fighter format.
