Deck: 43
3 Des Lacooda 3 Golem Sentry 1 Morphing Jar 2 Stealth Bird 3 Medusa Worm
3 Heat Wave 3 Magic Planter 3 Messenger of Peace 3 Pot of Duality 3 Swords of Revealing Light 1 Bait Doll
3 Fiendish Chain 3 Gozen Match 3 Imperial Custom 1 Macro Cosmos 2 Cloak and Dagger 3 Vanity's Emptiness
Side: 2x Shadow Imprisoning 2x Light Imprisoning
The Idea behind this build is to lock your opponent out of options. Removing multiple plays with gozen match, stopping SSing with Emptiness, Removing GY with Macro, and Effects with Fiendish and Seal.
Planter lets me draw off useless pieces or multiples, and Scarabs/Golem allow me to remove the single options they have.

I'd think that IIW is infinitely better than Seal of Wickedness and Macro, correct?

Different options really. Wickedness can shut down cards that I just do not want to deal with.
Macro removes the GY..just a solid option in the build.

Have you been using Seal of Wickedness very often? I'm interested in knowing what that's actually doing for you. I worry that in many cases, what you target in the Standby Phase with Wickedness won't even be there at the end of the turn because it will turn into something more troublesome. Also, I'm not sure if you had planned to use Custom to avoid paying the maintenance cost for it, but sadly, that won't work.
I like that you're also using Macro to keep Emptiness around. That's a very fun trick for a deck like this that doesn't need a graveyard.

Seal is used to shut off continuous effects of xyz monsters like dracco (so he can die), also works with planter..and is used to shut off other continuous cards. Testing it in place of psi-blocker.

What do you have that could kill a monster like Draco during your opponent's turn while it's still being negated? I get the continuous cards part, but I am concerned that Wickedness may not be the most fruitful idea when it comes to stopping monsters. I suppose I'd have to see it in action to know where it helps the most, though.

I need a replacement. I misread it.

Is that where Cloak and Dagger has come in? Hmmm... That could work surprisingly nicely with Golem Sentry, but it would really have some potential with Book of Moon!
Why did you switch Locusts out for Bait Doll? Have you been drawing so much that you're worried about decking out? I love Doll as much as the next person, but Locusts gives more immediate backrow destruction when the opponent sees a PACMAN deck and thinks they can set their hand.

Why the lack of Guardian Sphinx? I thought that and the swarms were practically essential to pac-man decks.

Sphinx requires a tribute that isn't always worth making when the other individual cards should already be controlling the field well enough.

That's still a messed up lock. How did that guy take 500 dmg though?
