Is Phantom used just to make a beater to take care of larger monsters?

I forgot to put down the extra deck, Phantom is mainly there to act as Gate Guardian for fusion summoning UFOroid Fighter who is the sole card of the extra deck. The main focus of this deck is OTKing with UFOroid Fighter.

Problem is Phantom doesn't copy the type of Gate Guardian. So you still can't use it to get UFOroid Fighter out that way. You can however copy UFOroid and use it since it changes its name, and that is the only named material for the fusion summon.

Yeah that's true I forgot that part of PoC but that still makes it valuable to the deck. PoC can be used for making a temp beater if need be of course as well.

change phantom of chaos for guardian of order, he's a big "guardian" for summoner to fetch, a warrior and a light type who can self SS. chaos is just a bad prisma in here....

I used Zombrya the Dark way back in the day since it was a 2100 that could be normal summoned to eat attacks, and was a decent size for a Fighter's fusion material.

To beef up the fighter I have Dogma and of course Gate Guardian, through testing I find myself rarely having a problem getting a warrior in hand, instead UForoid tends to be slightly more problematic to obtain.

That was always the issue, was happy when I realized Prisma was a perfect addition then. The biggest reason I used Zombrya was that it wasn't going to ever really be a dead card, which unfortunately Gate Guardian always will be and Dogma is as well. But you could use BLS-EotB since he is a powerhouse on his own and works well for the Fighter as well. TWRA just makes it all the better.
