Well well... that is a bit unpleasant. What is the big deal with Skill Drain and their cards?

Most of the Qlipoths have effects that cut their attack when summoned without tributing. Skill Drain Negates that and allows you to summon without tributing and get their full power. (Think what I do with Meta Killer). AQKiller + Skill Drain is practical death. Killer can't be touched by spells/traps (which means its effects aren't negated by Skill drain). It also can't be touched by monster effects that have lower lv or rank than it (which won't matter if Drain is up, but still). It lowers the att of all special summoned monster by 500 and it can force the other player to send any monster they want to the graveyard. yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Apoqliphort_KillerI got a feeling Konami will go after AQKiller. It is just too powerful to remain @3 copies per deck. I wouldn't mind 1 copy for Meta Killer though. Qlipoth Tool is another card that Konami will have in its crosshairs, since it can search any Qlipoth card (monster/spell/trap) from your deck to your hand for the price of 800 lp. Typical play is to use the Tool search, bounce it off the field with performapal trampolinx, then reactivate it to get another search.

Well... that sounds strong but won't the guy loose atk when normal summoned without tributing?

AQKiller has to be tributed summoned with 3 tributes. He doesn't have the att reduction effect like the others do.

That guy is super broken... oh well... here comes the pendulum madness... Finally we get a deck that makes good use of the mechanic and we get this.

It was expected. We all know that pendulum will dominate the format to make the new sets sell... And, let's face it... konami is doing a great job in making us buy new cards. Not me cause I have some lack of money... but if I had money, I would have bought lots of the last set and I was starting to save for the new set.

Yep money can do that to a player.
