So, I freaking love this deck. Before anyone suggests Supply Squad, yes, the consistent +1 & search I get is nice, however there are often times where I need monster protection and a stat mod more. All constructive feedback is greatly appreciated.

Updated after testing. Want to find room for Monster Reincarnation(s), possibly.

I read that one of the top ranked players doesn't run astral at all. Downerd magician is one of the 'big' monsters. It improves the consistency if the astrals are taken out. You can't get such big plays, but overall I think its better. Running 2 Squad over Astral, maybe.

Squad has its uses, though I've tinkered with alternate builds without it too. One thing's for sure, without Squad, you can SS the BA monsters more.
This build is very solid. I have a similar build, with Effect Veilers in so I have a Sorc over a Caius, Raigeki Break mained to hit backrow more (in a way being more PWWBs), Squads over Lance for now though they can switch and have before, and no Dark Hole, Bottomless Trap Hole or Dimensional Prisons but I too am looking into some of those in again.
I see you side Fairy Wind as well, even Dark Smog! Xyz Revenge eh? I should so try that! I feel Nobleman is great but Shadow Games is a thing at times, and most of the time I tried NoC it was met with SSG. Against Shaddolls I'm trying Non-Fusion Area too, though I would obviously prefer Vanity's Emptiness. No Stygian Dirge? How about siding Raizas?
THREE Dante? Very interesting, to say the least, at least with 2 Alucards. I personally like Nightmare Shark over Zenmaines, but that's just me.

Very interesting, to say the least, at least with 2 Alucards. I personally like Nightmare Shark over Zenmaines, but that's just me. Mischief of the Yokai is a better choice over Dirge for this deck, just because it can be activated during either player's turn from grave. All three of the tier 1 decks right now have no real late game, so I feel the Third Dante is necessary, same with the Alucard. I was thinking about Raiza over Caius just because of Super Polymerization. I had Veilers in the main, but dropped them for Karma Cut (the deck seriously needs 5 discard outlets in the main). I was at my second local, and someone suggested Dark Smog. I thought about it for a couple of seconds, then immediately ordered a set online. I regret nothing. All 3 decks are really hurt by it and it's more efficient than D.D. Crow. Nightmare Shark is good for late game post Soul Charge plays, there is not doubting that. I like Zenmaines for the stall, and the ability to pop continuous backrow that gets in my way. I really want to use Skill Prisoners. Castel, Ark, and BLS kind of ruin one's day.

I haven't been a fan of using Supply Squad either. I have been using Divine Wrath as my additional discard outlets though. Liking the build though, I still need to find one I'm happy with since I have a regional on the 20th and will be taking my Burning Abyss.

Still on the fence about what to use: Burning Abyss or Shaddolls.

Yokai is indeed nice. And it can't be stopped so easily with MST, etc.
Raizas makes sense, I read somewhere else about the same thing.
I'll be tweaking my extra too with some of the ideas you had here and from the convo you guys had in the chatbox.

My side board seems solid enough, I just need to figure out my siding formula for each match-up...which may take a while. Contemplating a third Dark Smog. Disrupts a lot of decks, and it's a discard outlet, so that's a plus.

Smog is amazing. In one game against Lightsworns, the Cir/Dante loop basically meant free D.D. Crows almost any such turns.
Idk about more than 2 though, I tech one mained since it's not the best thing to clog up on.

I can imagine the look of horror on your opponent's face when they are piloting Stelllar (going for the Altair play), Burning Abyss (Scarm), or dolls (falco/fusion recursion). How has main decking one copy worked out for you so far?

I haven't seen it as much but I don't necessarily miss it. I have enough discard outlets to keep my BA monsters going. When it does get drawn and not milled, it hasn't showed up where it wasn't going to be useful in some form. Heck, just getting BA effects off in of itself has its applications, never mind draining the opponent graveyard for any variety of reasons.
Being Continuous has its strengths and weaknesses. It doesn't let you discard if the effect gets stopped somehow, so that's a bummer. It can conflict with the likes of sided MalCat or Fairy Wind but then again, you can at least chain it one last time in those scenarios.
I'm looking into BA Monarchs more that can abuse Smog. Monarchs make the "Sir Dante" loop more easily. I can also look into the likes of Enemy Controller, Share the Pain... basically other ways to hit Dante while not losing too much resources to keep the cycle going faster at my pace.
