R.E.M. Penguin WATER Rank:2 Aqua/Xyz/Effect ATK:0 / DEF:0 1 "Penguin" monster and 1 or more Aqua-Type monsters "Penguin" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle or targeted by your opponents card effects. Once per turn: You can flip this card into face-down Defense Position. If this card is flipped face-up: You can detach 2 Xyz materials from this card; Return all Set monsters your opponent controls to the hand and all face-up monsters on the field are changed to face-down Defense Position. If this card has no Xyz materials and is flipped face-up: Banish 1 Aqua-Type Monster in your graveyard or Destroy this card.

I'll admit, I love the way it resets the field, especially that it sets whatever remained on the field. Also, love the frog support.
I'm still catching up to the meta, but with an effect that lets it neither be destroyed in battle nor even targeted, how will anyone take it out?

solidkguy Torrential Tribute, Black Rose Dragon, Exciton, Moraltach, Mirror Force, but ultimately not a ton of options. 2 problems with it. Number 1, it should say "Penguin Monsters other than "R.E.M. Penguin cannot be destroyed by battle or targeted by your opponent's card effects" That means it doesn't protect itself and isn't OP, and also you can't combo lock with two of them. Number 2, it's worded like a fusion monster but is an xyz monster. Instead, it should be "2 level 2 Aqua monsters, including at least 1 "penguin" monster" Also, I feel like this penguin would be a fan of... nightswiming.

There not being many options was what I was alluding to :3 Well, you asked how anyone could deal with it. That's very different from there only being a few options.
