Here's another simple one: Can Fake Trap be activated against Ice Hand when it's destroyed by battle? One would think such a situation would be referenced within its rulings, but I simply haven't been able to find anything anywhere. I'm assuming it (sadly) can't, but I'd like confirmation.

Nothing short of a Counter Trap or an effect that specifies use in the Damage Step or to a particular scenario that can only happen there, as well as affecting stats, will be allowed (regarding Trap Cards).
Ergo, Fake Trap is out of luck in this scenario.

Pretty sure you asked me this already. And ragda said the same thing I said, except probably worded with a better context. So, no.

I've done it more than once. Chivalry's literally never been better, and it makes this whole thread irrelevant. Haha, thanks again, Yoh Komori.

Chivalry is kinda like a poor man's Debunk, but I'm really glad I still have my 1st ed Ultis that no one cared about. B)

I've always held out it will have its time and place, and monster effects in the Battle Phase could be considered at an all time high:
Bujin shenanigans Artifacts played to disrupt attacks Hands Recruiters (to field), Searchers (to hand) FLIP effects and similar (like Geargiarmor or Ghostricks) Madolche
I'm sure there are more to list, which only means it does have its niche in this format, moreso now than ever before.

Definitely a lot of things to make it worth using. It's also cheeper than debunk.

"Cheeper"
You know, there's also a bunch of on-field effects other than FLIP ones too that it stops. It can kill Karakuris as they try to change position, allowing you to attack directly. It also stops opposing Exciton from nuking the board on your Battle Phase.
