Its a good card, but I'm pretty sure a competent player would expect debunk and soul drain to be sided against them. I mean if I were playing the deck, I probably would side in more copies of mst during game 2 and 3.

So long as people don't start maining those for game 1, I think the deck has potential. At any rate, it's a mini 4-card suite, so that can easily get sided out (or may get chumped out altogether as I progress towards more consistent Socutebuss Rush strategies).

I was going to make a Penguin deck, but have been out of the loop for a while now.... what new monsters are available and are there any viable combo cards to use with them? Really want to come up with a decent build.

yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/PenguinHere is a list of the penguin cards. The more recent monsters are nopenguin, puny penguin and the great emperor penguin. I am pretty sure there are more, but currently these are the cards up for debate and how to mash them to create a new consistent water theme.

I had an idea using Nopenguin, Penguin Soldier, Nightmare Penguin, Abyss Soldier and Abyss Warrior. Kind of like a control deck that uses Book of Eclipse and Salvage (along with Puny Penguin combos). It could use BoE without the negative drawbacks since you'll be bouncing the opponents monsters. Also Great Emperor Penguin's effect would work well with BoE. Problem is the consistency...

Consistency as in drawing the needed water monsters?

Consistency as in drawing the needed water monsters? A little bit and i don't really want to add Grizzly's to bring out penguins and then use BoE or BoM to set them. I thought about using Flip-Flop Frog's as well and a few other frogs to use monarchs in the deck as a time bider, space just seemed to tight though (might revisit his idea). This is kinda what I had in mind..

Grizzly isn't necessary in a deck like that. What about skreech or swap frog to make the deck faster by milling key penguins?

Bump, after the tournament I might take a hiatus with the coming of Shadolls. After seeing some played, I see why they are known as the underworld gods.
