I am just wondering if we can use the old RDA support cards: Red Dragon Vase, and Scarlet Security with the new Hot Red Dragon Archfiend (lousey name change btw).
My reasoning is that if the older support cards can work with Legndary Six Samurai cards, it should be no different here.

I am pretty sure they do not work.
Reasoning behind it is that the RDA support cards say you have to control "Red Dragon Archfiend" which you would not.
Six Samurai support say "Six Samurai monster" the monster part is the keyword, and it means that as long as it has "six samurai" in it's name it'll work.

Think they may errata the cards if they put out a LC5Ds?
The new stardust trap from Dragons of legend works with all stardust dragons pretty sure they changed the effect from the anime.

What would be the point? If they wanted them to work with any Red Dragon Archfiend monster they could have worded it that way originally. They did have the Assault Mode available at the time iirc.

Red Dragon was fairly well used still, wasn't until later that it dropped from play.

I think Bystander means /Assault mode. No one was using it.

I told you. There's specific wording that cards need in order to apply to monsters with just a part of their name in the text. It's simply not there in these cases. You should hope for lots of errata for this...

And I'm saying we don't need errata done just so some people can use sub-par cards in casual decks.

And I'm saying we don't need errata done just so some people can use sub-par cards in casual decks. It's a draw 2 that you can play M2 after doing your summoning. I don't think that's sub-par. It it were to work the Red Hot that would be quite useful as Red Hot does clear fields and will get a lot of play.

I just see other cards I'd rather have over a dead draw when I can't get a specific synchro monster out. Those take resources to get out, and if it is shut down that card will just take up deck/hand space. You'll end up wishing it was something else most of the time.

If we saw another deck that could spam it like the Dragunity's could spam stardust for /assault mode THEN it would be nice.

Even then it would only be good for that 1 deck. I don't see an errata being done just for that.

They're erattaing DSF for no real reason other then to bring him off the list.
Do you honestly think they wouldn't eratta this?
