What would by everyones dream archetype? I don't mean the cards inside, I'm talking the deep concepts such as Looks, Types, general playstyle, things like that.
Mine would probably be WATER attribute monsters with different types, who focus on +1, +2 combos and end the game with a BIG UNSTOPPABLE BEASTY, who takes a combo to get out of course. The weakness would be effect negation as only 1 or 2 would have sizeable bodies outside of the boss and semiboss monsters, and stopping a combo midway would result in all of them being butchered.

A time themed archetype, where the turn dictates a monster's effect. For example, summon a monster and it has effects that can be activated on the turn it's summoned, the turn after that, and the turn after that. Or a monster that special summons itself on the 3rd turn after being sent to the graveyard. Cards that look like they were inspired by Doctor Who, Back to the Future, and Steins;Gate.
Different attributes, types can vary between machine, warrior, spellcaster, and psychic.
Also, a Magical Girl archetype nodding to Madoka Magica would be fucking amazing.

while it seems cliche' I'd like an actual "primate" archetype. potentially grandfathering in the baboons, ape, gorilla, and kong monsters. revolving around a similar system to gladiator beasts, but the names would dictate who can tag into who (like lesser apes, like capuchins and such can't tag directly into "king kong"/boss monsters, but much like evols move up the chain to someone who can like lemurs-chimps-gorillas, or smaller monkeys-bigger monkeys-"legendary" monkeys like the sastqatch, or king kong, the yeti or such like that.)
do a theme spell like sylvan mountian, something that helps the theme deck and only the theme deck, (like IDK a free tag link so little monkey+ field can get to legendary monkey).
that kind of deck could do things primates are known for. harnessing tools (equips or traps) to better themselves, "pilfering/foraging" enemy's hands or graves???, and dirty things like forcing discards or forcibly activating set cards, and if said timing is oncorrect then they do not resolve properly and the chimp's get a plus.
alternately, I'd love, love LOVE a dragon archetype focusing or warriors, dragons and maybe reptiles where we get some decent backrow hate (tiger dragon is about as useful as a swollen nutsack, and darkstorm while I love it, is kind of meh, considering the effort needed to produce his effect). focus on western style dragons, and eastern. western pack monster destruction and burn, and eastern work the extra deck and backrow, the knights(east and west again) tend to either fuse/exceed/synch into dragon-warriors to gain better effects atop their decent stats, and the lizards do like evols and can "evolve" or "mutate" into dragons??
stuff like that I'd love to see.
