Just what it says. What do you think are some of the greatest 1v1 fights/duels in movies? My personal favourite probably has to be this

Neo Vs Agent Smith in the subway station "the matrix" Li mu Bai(sp?) vs Jen yu at the temple entrance "crouching tiger hidden dragon" Po Vs Ti Lung in the village below the masters temple "kung fu panda" (I'm a 23 year old male, and I laugh at this every time. I'm childish, yes, but it's cause I am that I appreciate this one for the "adult humor" and the childish fighting) Rocky Vs Drago "rocky Iv" "Robocop" VS Clarence boddiker, in the scrap yard. *"Son Goku" vs Broly, during the collision of comet Kumori "Broly, the Legendary Super Sayian" *King Kong VS 3 T-Rex "King Kong"
those last 2 are not really 1v1's but hey they sorta count. Probably know of more to add, but it's hard to make a solid list.

I knew someone was going to post that Neo Vs Smith scene.
Also I realized Vader Vs Luke in Empire is pretty iconic and should be listed.

That King Kong fight was in the Peter Jackson version.
I like the King Kong fight vs the T-Rex in the original movie. That movie fight had the dinos moving as fast paced land animals which was 30-40 years ahead of its time.
I would put Luke v Vader ahead of Obi v Anakin on the list.
The Bride vs Elle Driver in Kill Bill Vol 2 was a great fight.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that it was the fight scene from Man of Steel.

No love for Superman vs General Zod? Also on my list Iron Man vs Iron Monger. Do not care for Superman @ all. Iron man vs Iron Monger was a good fight to end the movie. I wouldn't classify it as a greatest fight. Either of the Batman vs Bane fights from the Dark Knight Rises were damn epic. The way Bane just kept talking during the first fight was great, pretty much what through the bat off his game. The second one both of them were wailing on each other until something gave to give the other an advantage. The fight between Spider-man and the Lizard @ Mid town high was the best fight between those 2 characters in the entire The Amazing Spider-Man movie.

Superman is OP and boring. Sorry. I've never been able to like him due to the whole, either he wins absolutely, or kryptonite. No middle ground. Also, let's be honest. The way he "turned back time" in that one film? That would probably have killed everyone on earth and/or destroyed the planet.
Bystander, funny you should mention that fight. I'm actually going to be rewatching that movie tonight. My stepdad hasn't seen it and Amazing Spider-Man 2 comes out next month. So we're taking the one chance we have before it comes out to all rewatch it.
Another great fight involving Spider-Man, I really liked his duel with the Green Goblin in the original Spider-Man movie. That fight was great.

The GG/Spidey fight was meh.
GG had some badass moves, but made the classic villain mistake of talking too much, then pushing Spidey's "trigger" button.
I did like how Spidey honored his last words by not telling Harry. Of course if he would have left the GG armor on, he wouldn't have had tell say anything to Harry @ all. Just saying.

Just saying. but that promise not to tell was made with intent to honor the man he was, not the man he had become. Leaving the armor on would be telling harry, even if not verbally saying so.

Yeah but it would have @ least stopped Harry from becoming the same thing his father became in the third movie.
Maybe Harry would have helped Spidey more (new tech) instead of hunting him down.

Let's be honest, the third movie's plot was a mistake. Venom was cool, but the movie just wasn't done that well.

Agreed, the idea of sandman and venom working in tandem was foolish, and while I could see that working with someone controlling venom (a mastermind of sorts, IDk who tho since harry's dad is dead and so is doc.oc.) maybe, but even still.
