One semester left regarding my B.A in physics. However the fear of not finding a job after graduation is moving closer. The job economy is terrible and many "yes" men are trying to make college mandatory since a H.S diploma has no value. We are in tough times.
Assuming people are in college or not
Your Major ?
Current job if any ?

I did not go to college, but I did go to a trade school. I suppose you could say my major was industrial electrical circuits. And I'm currently employed at Kmart (job placement for those who qualify my a**) as a "hardlines specialist".

I went through Culinary, got a Diploma and am about 1000 hours away from my Red Seal certificate as a skilled cook, and eventually chef. Plan to move abroad and work in the industry through Hotels, Fine Dining, Corrections, and cooking for various mineral industries.
Chef de Cuisine Diploma Leisure Studies Diploma Going for my Double BA in English/Economics in my later twenties once I have an established financial portfolio.
I ended up going this route because there are more jobs than skilled workers, thus easy opportunity to earn money, travel abroad, work in countries where being a Chef is as respected as a Doctor.
That's just me, though. Doesn't necessarily mean much.

How does the job pay ? and the structure ? Fun ? What? Kmart? Minimum wage despite the fact that I've aced 4 yearly evaluations. Management structure is minimal. The structure of the building is decent. There are things that need to be repaired, but that's up to the landlord. As for the last question, no.

@ JJ quite a nice mindset to have regarding the aspect of flexibility. Being a chef is important to many. Food brings smiles to people's faces.
@ Dragon - Min wage -.- the feeling of crap. Structure in terms of position, I assume your role was higher.
Industrial Electrical circuits ? I know about electric circuits, not industrial electric circuits

I'm at the bottom. The trash pails are higher up in the hierarchy than I am.
I've always been interested in electricity, but a trip to Pratt and Whit with my dad got me interested in manufacturing, so industrial naturally interested me. As a matter of fact I scored a 99.6 on my industrial final. Unfortunately there are few plants in the area and they are hard to get into. I had an opportunity to get my foot in the door at a power plant, but before I could send in my res it kinda, well, exploded. I might also try residential and light commercial, but it's not an option I'm too excited about.

Always been interested in Electrically & Mag laws. Otherwise I'm programming drones and studying quantum mech at the moment. I'm thinking about getting into some form of electrical work.
