The competition is obviously questionable then. No siding, when counter siding is kind of key to this deck's success in matches, and 2-0ing everything calls it into question as well. BUT - to be fair, if this is built for a specific Meta it makes more sense. After all, I am generally going to be making suggestions based on the highest level of competition where you want a deck to perform well over 9+ rounds versus the strongest fields of play.

Which at this point in the format is also unknown. But when I mention no siding, I mean for both participants in the match. I will admit one of the matches was in my favor do to it being against a BW deck, they rely heavily on destruction effects in most cases.

Even in an undefined meta superior decks are easy to pick up on and Side Decking is a bit more difficult, but still feasible. The main difference in a Side Deck for an undefined Meta is the potential to see Side Decks that focus less on a particular match-up (generally the weakest for the deck), and so they become more generic and flexible.
The Blackwing match-up is probably more in favor your way though.

So current trends I'm seeing is that the 3/4 Axis Fire Fist deck is gaining popularity, but they are calling it Rekindling Fire Fists. Only 4 monsters can even be SS'd with Rekindling, but a full set is used anyway.

Well, it does get a lot of things going just because that's a quick and easy set of summons, all out of the blue. The opponent wouldn't easily expect that many summons out of one card as easily, and it's a neat recovery or push-for-game tactic. About the only issue is that later copies of Rekindling may have less to turn into, due to a dwindling Extra Deck, but one should win anyways if they've gotten 1-2 Rekindlings off and gone off of that.

True, I may need to go back and look at the Extras to see how big of a focus is placed on Rekindling use.

Well that looks like a (what is quickly becoming) standard for FF this format. I'm going to assume it has been working well. The only thing I would question is "would you benefit from more Rekindling?"
Mostly seems to be a trend to have multiple of that.

Agreed. If nothing else, that creates a quick and easy level 6 Synchro or a Rank 3 of your choice. It's only real limitation is however much your Extra Deck already has been used up by at this point. At least another copy can prove to be quite useful, and it'll hardly be dead in the opening since you can usually set-up the Rekindling "targets" really easily.

Thoughts on the currently most popular deck of +1 Fire Fists? I'm not a fan because 4 main decked FF monsters should not be called FF to begin with. The consistency that it seems to have cannot be denied though.
