I'm liking the tech EBI "nuke" in Fire Kings now. So much fun for a random surprise field wipe, or the mind games if you can search it out using King of the Feral Imps.

Due to the fact that people are looking at Fire Kings and Fists doing well going into the next format Wolfbark is back around $40 each.
How many do you think are needed for Kings?
For Fists?

Kings 1, Fists, upwards to 3, if not 3, since Tenki to 3 also helps it be seen that much more often. Tenki at 3 is also why Kings don't need as much copies: you can just search it out if need be.

That's about what I was thinking as well. I really never liked more than 1 in Kings for sure.

Yeah it's not like Wolfbark does more than just allow for a quick Rank 4, or the popping of the Fire Kings it brought back for effects (which are fortunately all graveyard based, and thus outside of WB's negation).

I use it for the extra uses of FK monsters, or the sometimes needed Xyz. Usually like Tiger King there.

This is what I am looking at playing for Fire Kings going into the new format- Want to trade the Sacred Phoenix for an EBI Ccarayhua as soon as I get 1, and 1 of the R4 in the extra for a King of Feral Imps.

Once you actually play this versus some competitive games you will realize you don't need Blaster or Sacred Phoenix and those spots are better used for more Wolfbarks.

I don't feel like I need more Wolfbarks, especially at the price it is at now, and I already mentioned what I was going to replace the Phoenix with. Just requires funds to get it how I want it, problem there is LVAL will also be out soon and may make this useless to even use.

I wasn't aware this was strictly for IRL play. My B. But Fire King is a strong pick for the start of the format since it can do unfair things, but Wolfbark will be a big factor in that. So, if yours won't be featuring him, you may be right that this may not be worth using. And as far as Ccarayhua goes, that is a preference based Side Deck tech. Not sure why it would affect this being played before you got a hold of a copy.

I didn't say I wouldn't play it before I got a Ccarayhua, just that it may not be worth getting since LVAL is right around the corner. LVAL would take priority in what money I do have. At that point I may not even want to bother finishing this because of an establishing format and wanting to focus on Sylvans then.

That's confusing. But you do build for online play as well right?

I mostly use DN as a way to build out decks before I do them irl. I only test on DN when it with a person I know. Randoms piss me off to no end, they either don't know what they are doing or think they know everything and can't back up anything with official rulings; just a "the judge at my locals lets me". Most of DN is filled with posers and douche bags. That is my personal opinion.

To be fair, so are forums. But I know what you mean.

Actual irl testing done last night, never sided and 2-0 every deck I played against. Wolfbark had its uses but was far from necessary for any of the wins. Deck set up Garunix loops quickly enough and opponents just couldn't recover.
