I love this archetype so I created this discussion for them! The ArchetypeThe archetype is made of monsters who together achieve the goal of hand control and swarming. While they have low attack, in unison they can bring down most decks through sheer destruction. They have a multi-MST (Hyunlei), A Discard loop featuring the boss monster (Gottoms), and they have one of the best searchers in the game (Darksoul).
Alone these cards mean little. But with the help of the other monsters they can be a threat. The deck has the capability of a one turn 3 card destruction followed by a hand loop. On the other hand, it has a solid otk
The deck itself has multiple variants, ranging from otk to control. The BuildsRabbit SabersSaber FistsHand Control SabersControl SabersCombos

I'm mostly glad that this archetype lost Rescue Cat and Cold Wave. That was such a BS play. They can almost do the same though with Trap Stun and a Boggart Knight though.

yeah rescue cat era was dumb, now the deck takes planning/skill though. maybe not much of either, but it does take some depending on the end play you seek to do.

lol Like that addition of "not much". The errata'd ruling for Dark Soul really helped bring the epic level of OP down to something that is manageable.

sabers and sams also is a thing, since elder can be dropped right in to access shien, and kisan cause of that makes bog go into rank 4 and bog's ss (pashuul) become shi en so you could in theory have a field like barkion bog and elder, shi en and fairy king albverdech/utopia/chain into darksoul

soul charge can make the hand loop more consistent.

Funnily enough, I believe there'll be a deck that will use Gottoms for the hand loop but it WON'T be using the X-Saber engine. I think it's Karakuris, but whatever it is, it summons 3 Gottoms from the Extra, then a LV9 Synchro we don't have yet, and it uses the Rank 9 "XyzTrish". It can wipe out a good chunk of the opponent's hand.

Now that I think about it, it probably is.

Please elaborate on what you mean by that. I'm not sure how that connects with Sabers and/or the ability to empty opposing hands. Mind Crush already needs to wait a turn, and Infernities aren't generally forgiving when you take your time.

Well, the original Infernity deck would just Drop Trishula multiple times a turn and devastate an opponent; I've heard of people building an Infernity deck with a small Earth contingent summoning Gottoms, and main deck Mind Crush either to empty dead cards or pinpoint search card effects. It's probably a bad deck, thought it was interesting when I heard about it.
