I just saw this this morning too. Wonder if it will introduce a new game mechanic like the last 2 series did.

Probably. Apart from standard summoning methods (tribute, normal summon, set), we have: Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz. Arc 5 will likely introduce a fifth method of special summoning and make them all relevant.

Or make some even more irrelevant. Ritual is not something that is seen much anymore. Fusion only slightly better because there is still a large HERO and/or GB fan-base.

Hey at least it doesn't look like it needs an insane amount of hair gel or anything.
And I think Rituals still have some oomph, relevance is a different topic altogether. That said, Gishki, Herald of Perfection and Demise are the main forerunners of the deck type. Piper Chaos that uses Relinquished, and by possible extension, Sophia decks are next in line.
