The Code Name designation means it just got real. It's Anti-Meta Rocks And Xyz, and it's crazy enough that it just might work!
Total: 43
Monsters: 28
3 Koa'ki Meiru Wall
3 Koa'ki Meiru Sandman
3 Koa'ki Meiru Guardian
3 Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo
3 Gogogo Giant
3 Gogogo Ghost
2 Gogogo Golem
2 Gogogo Golem - Golden Form
2 Masked Chameleon
2 Effect Veiler
1 Gogogo Gigas
1 Gogogo Gollum
Spells: 10
3 Mystical Space Typhoon
2 Catapult Zone
2 Diamond Core of Koa'ki Meiru
1 Attack the Moon!
1 Foolish Burial
1 Dark Hole
Traps: 5
3 Call of the Haunted (extra Ghost triggers are great, but bringing back Dyna or whichever Koa'ki Meiru will be most useful is even sweeter)
1 Vanity's Emptiness
1 Compulsory Evacuation Device
As with the old site, whenever you see the "Code Name" designation here, it means Anti-Meta goodness shall follow. I decided my first deck here should be my modern take on Rock Stun, incorporating the Gogogo engine of monster summons with Rock Stun's versatility. The Gogogo chain of monster summons (Giant --> Ghost --> Golem --> Gigas) gives me four Level 4 monsters with a single Giant summon, the latter three of which are all for free from the grave. (I know Gigas costs me my Battle Phase, but timing Gigas properly is one of the skills needed to get good with this deck.) Catapult Zone is here to put Golem and Gigas there quickly, while Foolish gets Ghost to the grave. Zone also gives me a way to fight off would-be Dyna destroyers.
Golden Form is the reason why I'm only running two Veilers for now. It gives monster negation a large body (at least 3600 ATK on summon) to work alongside Guardian, is easily summoned after a Giant chain, and offers up to two negations!
Masked Chameleon is a surprising card here. It works because Giant, Ghost, and Gollum have 0 DEF, so it gives me unexpected additional Synchro and Xyz options at various points of a game. I don't anticipate Emptiness needing to serve much of a function beyond being chained to an effect that would Special Summon. That's fine, because I can turn it off whenever I please with Catapult Zone. If it goes off too much when I don't want it to, I can swap a third Veiler in there.
Attack the Moon! is extra destruction made viable by Giant, a Call-summoned Ghost, a Gollum summon, or any manual position change I conduct, like from a monster I protect on my opponent's turn with Catapult Zone. That should be plenty.
