Deck I've been testing recently. It's been working pretty well and I like it a lot. Any ideas?

Do you really need 3 of NA Destiny and Excaliburn? Just seems that since you can only control 1 of each at any given time that may clog more often than one would like.

Well, Excalliburn prevents targeting which destiny doesn't so they cover eachother really really well and make things very tanky. However I've been finding myself with a lack of attack power so I'll be testing -1 excalliburn for +1 gallatin

Sounds like a plan then. I like the protection of Destiny over the kind found in Excaliburn. The atk boost will always be welcome.

Do you side release restraint wave for match ups vs backrow decks?

Ursiel, I'll let you know how it turns out. @yoh I haven't really worked on a side deck beyond the basic "Maxx C/Veiler" stuff. Sounds like a solid idea however.

Ever think about Magic Cylinder? If say you used it over the TRoar in the main it could steal games and then side them out G2 for the Roars. This way if they think you have a Cylinder down you can chain the Roar and they did a 1-for-1 and can't attack. Just random thoughts because some decks will just try and force through backrows (Rulers) since they aren't truly losing out on anything.

Decent idea, but stopping one attack isn't really something I need too much even if the damage can be nice. The deck sometimes needs a turn of not getting hit and roar does that exceptionally well.

I see it as a way to keep them on their toes, if there is another set card they will forevermore worry about another Cylinder. But as always to each their own.

What have you tested the deck against?

I've went up against some Dragon Rulers and then a random assortment of decks. Strangely my toughest match-up was against Gladiator Beasts.

Its not that strange, GBs have a tenacity to hurt things that aren't properly equipped to deal with them. No that was not supposed to be a pun.......

Well it's a bad pun. Fair point though, I don't really have the backrow or spamming to go up against them and push past a good backrow.

Not many decks do. I'd be surprised if a Ruler deck could do so once they have established a field.

True, true. Anyone want to help me test this a bit at some point?
