It was DN, that should be more than enough reason as to why they let you get away with that.

Looked at what's coming up in SECE. Updated the list.

Move Honest back to 1 (it is way to generic unlike things like Crane or Kalut which are archetype specific) and Skill Drain back to 3 and we can agree on a decent list.
Still not sold on Emptiness, Konami didn't touch any of the "floodgates" last list. I really don't think they are going to touch any this list either.
Cold Wave back @1 that is very interesting. I would like that to make a come back, although my feeling is that DSF might finally come off in its place though.
I do agree we need BTH back to 2 copies. It will be a decent addition that can help us deal with Qliphorts.
Not sure about BLS-EotB getting ban hammered again. I know the number of decks that can use him have increased, but are there decks out there that actually abuse him?
What about some of the OCG hits from their last list being brought over: Construct, Winda and Sinister Shadow Games all went to 1. Think this could happen here in the TCG? Personally I wouldn't mind the hits to the fusions, extra deck space is getting tight, and with the wind doll fusion coming the open slots in the extra would be helpful.

Honest can go the hell to 2. I understand that can be nutty, so I put generic boss BLS-EotB back on the forbidden list. Generic Main Deck flood gates are bad for the game. Vanity's needs to go to 0. For God's sake, Royal Oppression is a more balanced card. Has a cost. Can't turn it off without burning a card. Skill Drain NEEDS to go to one. Have you not played against Qliphorts? Besides, they have their own skill drain coming out next set anyway. Dolls will be irrelevant after the next set. Masked Heroes, Necloth, Qliphorts, and Burning Abyss will be the meta.

I could have sworn you putting BLS-EotB on the ban list for A Bolt from the Blue. That card can bust it out without grave setup, then again it can special summon out any Lv 10 or less special summon only monster without needing the summon requirements. Imagine this card being able to bust out a Malefic CyEnd without having to banish a monster from the extra, that is basically getting free malefic on the field.
Banning BLS-EotB just to move Honest to 2 is just not a smart move. Tellarknight and Noble Knights will get massive defensive boosts with it being @ 2. Add in CotH getting Honest back from the grave and the plays go from nutty to down right insane.
If Qliphorts have their own version of Skill Drain, why should Konami touch the generic Skill Drain @ all? Monarchs have gotten their own version too, and Skill Drain wasn't touched then. Qlis are also getting a monster version of Super Rejuvey, I would think Konami would sooner go after the actual archetype cards to balance out the deck rather going after generic stuff. This form of thinking isn't fair IMO, you basically killing every skill drain dependent deck while the one that caused the hit gets off scott free because they are getting their own version of it?
I know about the 2nd Apoqliphort. Kernal is a lv 9 that is immune to spells/traps/activated monsters effects of equal lv/rank and it has a Change of Heart effect. However, Kernal like Towers still requires 3 tributes and doesn't have the attack reduction on special summoned monsters that Towers does. As of the last ARG Tourney none of the Qliphort decks I saw had towers mained or sided. I can get the idea that Kernal could make Qli players run Towers (for the mirror match), but lets wait and see how the meta develops. I still think Towers needs to be banned, but since it isn't being used I don't see the need for the witch hunt right now.
We won't be getting the majority of the Neckroz until February. So Dolls will be able to stick around until then. Plus Dolls do blend insanely well with HEROs.
HEROs return to the meta will be well received. I got 4 builds I will be using in that instance.

Your opponent can target that card for destruction and wipe both it and emptiness off the field with that move. Even if the set card is chained, it still goes to the graveyard taking Emptiness with it. Emptiness is easy to get rid of.

And you can't be sure that you use it when you have total control. Royal Oppression can be used whenever you want and you might have the life point advantage so that it will end the game anyway.
