Yeah zerofane can get huge numbers like 3000+ ATK. And with Harpies, getting a lot of face up cards is super simple. Might have to work in 2 of them.

I've seen them more often clearing the 4k mark to take down things like Crimson Blader.

- Harpie Lady #1 is overall a better card than Cyber Harpie for the current Harpie deck; it just does more in game state/specific scenarios. - Lance isn't necessary for this deck since Harpie's and Hunting Ground are cards that allow you to push through. But as a one, or two, of you could call it preference, just three seems odd. - Phoenix Formation is meh; I don't run it, but as a one-of it'd be neat I guess. - BTS makes very little sense in this deck since you are only running one Monster that would be shut down by Ophion which really is the only point in running BTS. Otherwise, cards that actually prevented something, or were simple utility or continuation plays would be better. - Drop one Chidori for a Diamond Dire Wolf; I have no clue how that is not already in here. - Zenmains? Really, why?

Because if you have actually played the deck competitively, 2 Chidori is quite enough. The deck tool boxes Rank 4 and thus the deck needs as many game state/scenario options to lean on as well. I have never played Chidori at more than 2 in the deck and have never felt like I needed that third.

Fair point on the need for tool-boxing.

Also, you have to keep in mind that with more options, you are also seeking to have generic Xyz Monsters as well.

BTS can be used for more than stopping Ophion, it is general effect negation which can prevent plays that could hurt you.

There is a reason it is not seeing play in premier events currently. It was super buzzed for Mermail a while back to counter Ophion, and found itself being generic negation for a minute, and then people went back to other methods or addressing the situations where BTS would deliver what ever quality it has, and went with something better. If it's a preference call, though, you can't really debate that, right.

No you can't. Some decks though will just do better with BTS over other forms of generic effect negation though. Like decks that can't support hand traps for Veiler, or need the open back row and can't afford to keep Fiendish there.

Sure. Lightsworn is a good example of a deck where BTS seems like an obvious choice, but I still don't run it in there either.

I was thinking more because they must remain handless.
But, back to the deck. Anything to report for changes or testing?

I've really been enjoying the Geartown/Hats variant just due to it's silliness.

Silliness may not be the right word. Random. Insane. Those work.
