Vanilla beat is great! Normals have so much support you can build some crazy things. Cards I would want to fit in somehow: Faustian Bargain, Orders to Charge, Swing of Memories, Cry Havoc!, Secrets of the Gallant, Two-Man Cell Battle. Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated! ^^

Where's Heat Wave?? Normal decks definitely need that card to keep the field clear without the monster effects they don't have! You can at least use one over Black Horn, but I love a set in my Normal-based deck. Heat Wave also lets your monsters hold up better in battle, as they will be attacking more set monsters. If you add Wave, Faustian Bargain would be awfully cool as well. Maybe those could go in over Swaps in that case? That, or Prisons, but Common Charity might be better to drop...
I'd swap Silent Doom out for Swing. The ability to attack if you want is worth it because I don't think you would play Doom either unless you intended to Xyz that turn. I don't know how you can fit those other cards in, though.

Heat Wave is more useful in a deck that has big beefy normals such as Blue Eyes, but I generally Xyz for some field controlling effects so it would hurt me as much as them. I would also never be able to get over anything with more than 2000 def.
Doom can get switched for Swing easy, Doom was in when this was more def based stalling OTK deal.

Ah, so it's an Xyz-centered build after all. I'm much less familiar with that kind of build..
