i.imgur.com/zguP9AI.pngIn order of appearance for clarity Main Deck: 40 Monsters: 20 3 Baby Raccoon Ponpoko 3 Baby Raccoon Tantan 3 Junk Synchron 2 Kalantosa, Mystical Beast of the Forest 2 Key Mouse 1 Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulders 2 Summoner of Illusions 3 The Earth - Hex-Sealed Fusion 1 Wind-up Kitten Spells: 10 1 Book of Moon 1 Dark Hole 2 Forbidden Dress 3 Mystical Space Typhoon 3 Obedience Schooled Traps: 10 1 Bottomless Trap Hole 1 Compulsory Evacuation Device 2 Dimensional Prison 2 Fiendish Chain 2 Mirror Force 1 Solemn Warning 1 Torrential Tribute Extra: 15 1 Gaia Drake, the Universal Force 2 Naturia Exterio 1 Ally of Justice Catastor 1 Armades, Keeper of Boundaries 1 Crimson Blader 2 Junk Warrior 2 Naturia Beast 1 Scrap Dragon 1 Stardust Dragon I'm thinking about Redox's place in the deck. Supposedly, he has synergy with Key Mouse, but I'm only running 2 Key Mouse. So I'm considering dropping him for some other card; maybe dropping multiple cards and just going for +3 Upstart Goblin to open key cards more often, or just adding in another Forbidden Dress. I'm also unsure about the Extra; I want to make room for a Gachi Gachi. But I've no idea how important it is, and also no idea what I'd change in the extra to make room. Summoner of Illusions + Forbidden Dress = Naturia Exterio that doesn't die at the end of turn. Not sure if there are any other preventative cards. Summoner of Illusions also = Gaia Drake just flat outright. Which is pretty cool. And there's (hopefully) enough protection to get it to stay alive for that. Maybe more Summoner of Illusions, too? Unsure. I could also drop WU Kitten for a third Key Mouse to make Redox better. It's all up in the air. I'm also thinking maybe running 1 Gaia Knight, the Force of the Earth in the extra may be cool, because then Gaia Knight + The Earth = Gaia Drake as well, giving me more routes to it. Still unsure. Trying to fit in more tricks may make it less consistent, though. So yeah, let me know what you think. Questions or comments or suggestions, all appreciated. Take some time to test the deck if you think it's cool or make your own build if you like the idea. Let me know how things go! Thanks in advance.

I don't really feel gachi is that needed in the extra as Ronin is going to be better almost all the time I think. If you're keeping redox I'd say don't drop kitten as it is one of the better reborn targets for redox's discard effect.

The deck needs to play 3 Ronin. It's the only deck type I know that needs 3 of an extra deck monster. However, having 4-5 Rank 2 is almost necessary. Gachi Gachi and Daigusto Phoenix are amazing alternatives.
How often does this deck get Illusions off? Doesn't seem that effective, whereas Hex always offers a better play.

I know it is heavy costed but between Tantan and the Summoner you could consider Burst Return.
And the extra really does like to have a couple Number 64: Ronin Raccoon Sandayu, Herald of Pure light isn't bad either as it puts Kalantosa back into the deck if you happen to draw it.

Summoner of Illusions works well. Hex doesn't always offer a better play because a) it assumes I can bring out Naturia Beast, b) not all decks even run a significant enough number of traps to justify Exterio, and c) it requires my normal summon, usually during the turn I summon Nat Beast. The trap lineup protects Summoner of Illusions decently well, and when I draw Summoner, I either get him off or he gets traded 141 anyway. I agree that having more copies of a good card in the extra deck is nice, but it also means sacrificing the utility I get from other cards, and I need to know what else I'd be taking out. I don't think a third is an absolute necessity, and I think the gained utility is generally worthwhile. Burst Return seems to be for Elemental Hero Burstinatrix? For extra deck suggestions, I really need to know what I'd take out for anything added in.

Yeah^ that was the one. 2k lp cost to SS a monster from grave in face-down defense.
The biggest reason I can see for using multiple 64 is that they create a type of lock when 2 or more are out. That being said it is also one of the few plays you can make during a turn you use Obedience or Ponpoko.

I agree with multiple, the question is if I have the third. I'd like it but am not sure about what to drop. Probably Armades?

I would drop the levels that you don't hit often. Level 5 is the easiest to hit in Raccoon decks, how are you hitting 8s other than Redox and a Key Mouse?

I would cut Stardust for a 3rd ronnin.

I'm not hitting 8 super often, yeah. I'll take out Stardust for another Ronin.

A lot of cards do what Chaos Infinity do. I believe just running more backrow lets me not only protect it more consistently but also work with the rest of the deck. I'd like to emphasize that Summoner of Illusions is a cool and unique trick for the deck, but it is not the focus of the deck and spending too much room on cards only useful with Summoner of Illusions will make it less consistent and that will make me sad.

I'm with you, its not worth sacrificing consistency for another trick when the deck can already have consistency issues.
