If you don't own Ark, go with Lavalval Chain. Otherwise, Ark is the easy fit because it's Ark and it's the one out you can bring out prior to a JD drop that no one sees coming. Just such a disruption to game flow.
3 Raiden will likely be the norm now. Any LS monster that you can Normal Summon without tribute and mills in Main Phase is amazing. And it's a tuner, so it just makes it an even bigger presence.
How do you get to Mist Wurm so often? The numbers don't seem to add up. Ehren/Jain/Lyla/Garoth x2 and Veiler? Plague Ehren/Lyla/Jain/Garoth x1 + Lumina? Can't really see another common option with Raiden unless it's like Lumina + Raiden into Michael + Plague. Don't really see Ryko being used as Synchro bait either.
Paladynamo is an out, yes, but is it really the strongest option you can make?

The card is amazing, but I can't really see a fit for ARK in LS. Took it out for Emeral (to test, anyway). The ability to get backs JDs after my Reincarnations and Beckoning are gone is too good to ignore. Also helps recycle Michaels.
Pretty much, yeah.
Lumina+level 4 LS+Plague. I also use 2 level 4 monsters and Veiler at times as well.
It's effect negation, makes something an easy damage target, and when it dies I draw (which is always helpful).

The biggest use I can see for ARK is baiting out summon responders. Most people do not want to see that card hit field. If it sticks it will survive a JD drop (like JJ said) and be that much more damage, I can see it ending games.

Well, it's true that I like things that don't die when JD clears the field (hence Angineer and Inzektron). Damn it, this became a difficult choice again. If I get one, I'll use it. Back to trying to figure out how to make space for it.

lol Yeah, the biggest thing will be whether or not you get your hands on one. Easiest thing I could maybe think to replace is (sadly) the Exciton Knight. You already have a large number of field wipe cards available to you and that much redundancy may not be needed.

I like the extra boom, in the event that I mill through all JDs, or if my opponent has something impairing out, but overall, I haven't used the card all that much since I got it.

Already have Tachyon, Paladynamo, and Angineer as light Xyz options.

Woo! Swap that Exciton out then? Traded in Exciton for Ark and half a box. Pulls were meh (can still move them, though), but none of my decks need Exciton, so it was a fair trade.

Not a bad trade.

I would have done that too if I didn't use Exciton. As it stands I may be getting a 2nd ARK.

If for two different decks, go for it, before the price jumps...again. @dawson I was happy with it, more or less. Praying that the LS stuff is in Gold or Prio, but probably not. Everything is probably pushed back for that mega tin release. T_T

I trade cards between extra decks, so the 2nd is mostly because it will piss off some people. And maybe as trade bait.
