I saw Shad's Panic deck and realized it's flip effect engine could work quite well with... Des Koala, who happens to be bloody amazing with Book of Eclipse. So, I present to you: Hamster Burn 1.2 2.0

I think this needs Tsukuyomi even more than Panic does, because multiple Hamster plays = multiple Koalas on the field to make the most of Book of Eclipse. Also, Magician of Faith gives you too much access to stall cards and Books to be left out. Plays like flipping Hamster to get a Koala (especially with a Koala already set) then flipping Faith to retrieve Book of Eclipse will literally win games. In contrast with Panic, where Attribute balance is important, I think you should keep the higher-DEF Dark Mimic and take out a Skelengel pair in order to add Faith and Tsukuyomi. That would even give you nine DARKs, so if it fits your playstyle, you could then try Allure over a Cardcar so you don't have to end our turn once you grab your two cards. (Honestly, I don't like Allure in decks like this, but maybe you do,. That's my only reason for making such a suggestion.) I love the idea of using Hamster with the Flip draw engine to search Des Koala, and I may just play around with some fun ways to exploit that myself. Nicely done!

I honestly am not sure if this needs Tsukuyomi at all. I've rarely run into a situation where I would rather have her than one of the other cards in my hand and I can normally dig for eclipse enough that she doesn't seem needed, and surprisingly, the same with Faith, I haven't ever felt like I NEED a card back from the grave.
However, I think I'll give them a test. But I also think I'll cut a pair of Mimics for them rather than Angels, I've never been in a situation where Mimic's higher DEF is really useful but I HAVE (surprisingly) been in situations where Angel's 900 attack points win games. I definitely agree, Allure never feels right in a deck like this.

Wow. I am stunned that Skelengel's ATK would be useful! How on Earth have you ever been in a position to move monsters out of the way to make that relevant?! The only card I can see doing that for you is Dyna.
And, if you're saying you've never seemed to need Tsukuyomi or Faith, I'd assume this is doing quite well for you so far!

Needle Ceiling or Dyna yeah. Or, I'll set him, opponent will set some backrow or cardcar and not put monsters on the field. Flip angel and either draw one or force a trap or draw 1 and take almost 1/8th of their life with an attack. Also, ended up testing both Tsukuyomi and Faith over a pair of Dark Mimics. Holy.. I thought the deck was effective before. Very good advice. List updated with those changes. Having trouble with the Fire Fist match-up however. It seems to be able to put too much one card destruction in play that screws up up a bit. Any advice for how to deal with it?

I'm glad that worked out for you!
Fire Fist is a real pain. A REAL pain. My best advice there would be to try and side Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell in with Overworked and/or Dark Bribe. The Traps, at least, will be useful in a number of other matchups. Siding to stop a specific threat means either removing draw cards or removing some Burn options. There's no way around that fact, honestly. Smart use of the Books becomes even more important than Dyna to disrupt Extra Deck plays.
You may also want Lava Golem in the side as well to clear the monsters they wanted to use, post-Book. Emptiness would not be enough in this case unless you wanted to use Macro with Bribe to protect it, and that would mean siding Faith out. That part is up to you.
EDIT: Just a note here... Be careful about how much you do with the Flip Draw monsters. You have to keep in mind that Des Lacooda gives you a draw every turn for free.

Fairy Wind is also an "on theme" answer to an opponent's Formation cards.

Nice, thanks!
I'm testing a set of Dekochi over the remaining 1 mimic and 2 angels.

Yeah, Deko just makes good sense. I can't think of a reason you would ever go back to the Mimic and Engels in this deck...

I'd rather run Dyna over guard dog. Not as searchable but much more controlling.
Morphing Jar #2 sounds like it's worth a try. What would you cut for it?

Hamster Burn 2.0 is entering it's open beta phase. Any opinions? What's that Trap to the left of Waboku? I can't figure it out, and it might just affect my answer to this question.

W Nebula Meteorite Change all face-down monsters on the field to face-up Defense Position. During the End Phase this turn, change all face-up LIGHT Reptile-Type monsters you control to face-down Defense Position, then draw 1 card for each. After that, you can Special Summon 1 Level 7 or higher LIGHT Reptile-Type monster from your Deck.
It let's me use flip effects in the opponent's turn and also draw cards off of the worm plays. Very nice.
