Dragon King's

One of my 3 Meta Decks that I have not been working on since the last Ban List came into effect. It's a Disaster Dragon Deck that suprisingly doesn't rely on Future Fusion or REDMD. Instead it uses Tour Guide of the Underworld and Hieratic Dragon of Gebeb to fetch Versago the Destroyer and Divine Dragon Ragnarok to Exceed Summon a Rank 3 or Rank 4(preferably Queen Dragun Djinn) Xyz Monster. Then once Versago and Ragnarok have been used as overlay units I can then use Dragon's Mirror to Summon King Dragun(a personal favourite of mine). However since the Ban List I had to drop Heavy Storm and Monster Reborn but I replaced them with Hieratic Seal of Convocation, but I think there are a few other updates that can be made particularlly in the Extra Deck(Xyz Wise).

Ever think about Dragon Shrine to start loading the grave with the normal Ragnarok and any of your other dragons? Like Red-Eyes Wyvern or Golem Dragon? And speaking of Golem Dragon, Debris can use that to 1-card into Queen Dragun.

That Dragon Shrine strategy sounds intriguing, I will probably drop BOM and Mind Control for a couple of copies of that because Mind Control isn't very useful to me these days, neither is BOM, Maestroke the Symphony Djinn can serve as BOM.

I also like the Debris strategy for Golem Dragon, I will have to play that strategy carefully because Golem Dragon plays well in combo with Queen Dragun, when those 2 are in play I'm Semi-Untouchable. I'll probably drop Masked Dragon for Debris Dragon because although Masked is a favourite he's not much use in todays Meta because most people I play against want games to be Quick and Easy, that's why I build Old Meta Decks like RotBEWD to make games Hard and Fun.

When I was using Golem for those plays I ran more than 1, just in case.

I did originally run 2 of them back when I used to post my Decks on TCGPlayer, but Yoh Kohmori recommended I dropped 1 of them. It's not because of using it as an Exceed material it's because of the though of summoning Queen Dragun Djinn at the wrong moment and having it stuck as 1 of it's overlay units. Then again being able to get Ragnarok to the grave faster could mean faster King Dragun. The King and Queen can rule the field if played right.

I ran the pair in a Hieratic Red-Eyes deck with decent success, and that was before the greatness that is in Dragon Shrine.

Hmmm. I may be able to push in a 2nd 1, but in doing so I will go over my Deck Limit because I like to keep my Disaster Decks at 40. However I may have a solution but it will involve me siding the Effect Veiler's. I will drop the Dust Tornado and Mirror Force in the Side Deck and replace them with the Effect Veiler's from the Main, I don't use Dust or Mirror in Disaster Decks that much anyway. As for the Main Deck I can put in that 2nd Golem Dragon you recommended, also a copy of Divine Dragon Apocralyph to recycle cards such as Debris Dragon, GEPD, and REDMD.

No I don't mind, go ahead and give it at try anytime, post your results back here once you do. Just watch out for those players on DN who take 10 mins to make a move because they spend most of the time arguing that you can't make certain moves
