I find that this deck needs a large amount of draw power. Shard of Greed works wonders and I would run it over some of the stun backrow.
Also Junk Synchron is also pretty good in this deck as there are a lot of targets and Its always nice to be able to Synchro.
Anyway Ghostricks are the only reason I will buy any shadow specters.

First of all, welcome to the forums. Secondly, interesting tech choices.

Is there any reason why you aren't using any Ghostrick Ghoul?

Is there any reason why you aren't using any Ghostrick Ghoul? It honestly isn't that great.

I found it was pretty good to get over larger monsters, even just a Ghoul and a Stein make a 3200 attack.

At most I'd use one, but the only thing I could drop for it is Yuki-onna, and I am loving the permanent face-down effect. Not going to matter long term though. When the new Ghostrick support is out in the next set, the build will change almost entirely (deciding what to drop for Ghostrick Mary at the moment).

1 is all I would think to use, but I wouldn't drop Yuki-Onna either. Thought's on dropping the 3rd Jiangshi?

Have you given any consideration to Recurring Nightmare? I find that it's incredibly annoying to be able to re-use Specter and Lantern for getting some draw power and protecting your Life Points and/or Alucard, respectively.

I use a set, and I really do love it. I even use a Dark Eruption for bringing back most of what Nightmare can't target. There's something to be said for Ghostrick monsters that go off when yours are destroyed, or when they are in danger of that fate. It gives the deck an undeniable wall factor to let you draw into what you need, or to search it with Jiangshi. There's a lot of really fun tech that the archetype can make great use of if one is willing to make room!

Have you tried out the Recurring Nightmare?
Even if not, how has testing been so far?
