It also saves room in the effect text. It is really long when you print out what Excavate does.

Excavating is a new game mechanic. I like it better than milling for decks such as LS since LS mills are what gives that deck it's negative attention. So much luck is involved. For Excavating your mills are controlled by the revealed cards having to be of the exact type and anything else is returned to the deck. This is the Promo, just waiting for it to be on DevPro so I can start testing it, but TBH I haven't really looked since I have moved on to next format testing.
