This has been working well for me against Game 1 DR. Basically, you just sit there and flip at opportune moments from defensive starts to OTK'ing and ending games, then side in things to steal Level/Rank 7's and continue to go off. Main decked Vanity's has been godly to keep not-quite-OTK plays from being bushed aside.
Tell me what you think.

I personally don't like Gorz while running significant traps.

I personally don't like Gorz while running significant traps. I find this format, I blow through my Backrows so quickly Gorz is always live. I'll test again without.

What is your most difficult match-up with this build?

What is your most difficult match-up with this build? Dragon Rulers, but then a close 2nd would be Fire Fist. The problem with Fire Fist is simply resource management other than outs, not sure how to approach the match up comfortably.

How you finding the lack of Maxx "C"? I feel less cluttered. I mean, if I'm not running 3, I don't feel like I have enough, if I'm running two, I feel like I never see it in a live scenario. Side deck would be good if I can, Hand Traps against DRulers throws them for a spin when they don't expect it.

Aqua Spirit is for the Bahamut Shark combo.
Opening hand consisting of 1 Mermail Abyssteus, 1 Aqua Spirit, 1 water monster.
Play Teus, grab Ocea. Normal Ocea, activate effect, target Teus. Summon Pike & Linde, send Teus to grave, activate pike if possible Special Summon Aqua XYZ Pike/Aqua Linde/Ocea for Bahamut Shark and Mechquipped Angineer Detach one for Bahamut Summon Trite/Acid Golem/Nightmare Shark
First turn, mid game play is fabulous.

You're still sold on only one ocea? I'd have figured you would try for two.
also thoughts on dragon ice, and fog king?

How has Sixth Sense been doing for you? I wouldn't see the possible mills in this being very productive unless Tidal was milled or already there to get summoned. Mostly just seeing there is no help for the main goal of the deck by not triggering off the effects.
Also which regional?

Speaking from experience facing this deck: having a few more options yarded is never an issue. Gives gunde good targets, gives tidal and aqua spirit fodder for summon and can help set up glacia(when decked).

I guess I'd have to see/test myself, just not something I would have put there myself.

@bsa: No. Not a fan of double Ocea. I never see it as useful outside of one copy. Hilde ended up being my secondary target I was missing. Ursiel: Sixth Sense is good no matter what happens. Hilde activates upon mill, Fishborg is better in grave, Tidals in grave etc. In hand? It's too good not to run. You activate it, you win.
