Here, you can discuss all prevalent information on Bujins.

Am I the only one who allowed themselves to get momentarily swept up in the BK Buzz Machine, and then get extremely let down by this pile of cardboard?

Maybe. I know I had no interest in the deck but did see how they could be a fun deck to play.

They just remind me of Noble Knight; seems like there is a lot there....and then you play the deck.

The biggest thing I dislike about the deck is that all the plays center around the Beast-Warrior type Bujins, each one you may only control 1 of at any given time though. Just seems to lead to poor hands that can't be used without sub-optimal plays.

I felt the deck could do very well, then I played it.
I was not impressed. Maybe in the future it will be very playable. Right now it hurts to lose your beast warriors.

Vivit Knight does seem a bit interesting, but to be fair I haven't tested the card since I am uber disappointed with the deck.

I know it helped in the sneak peek. Easily was able to make Kagutsuchi at least twice because of it.

It cant be all bad now, with tenki, turtle, beckoning light, photon viel (admittedly bad card, but quite halarious when you trade crummy thins like centepide, crane and such out of hand when you draw bad for 3 yamanto who you know will love you for ever and ever) and other such tech cards. Hell if we end off with a decent set of beast warriors, horn of the phantom is a decent pick.
I just wish the deck wasn't so adamant about keeping just 1 monster with decent stats/effect on board at a time.

This is what I'm messing about with, it's basically a carbon copy of the regional topping builds that jason is crazy about right now. I've been wanting to play bujins since I pulled 2 yamanto back in november, and now that I can, I'm kinda glad I kept my cranes and got the makazuchi's cheap. I'm trying needle celling as it basically is an in deck Kagasuchi without a 2500 body. I was going to do a more trappy(but less trappy than previous bujin builds) packing 2-3 trap stun, but then I saw the article and frankly it makes more sense. It's kind of stupid to say, but decree really does solve a LOT of bujins problems. thoughts on how they might make a break into the game as a top contender?

The deck needs things like call of the haunted, for more yamato op plays

The deck needs things like call of the haunted, for more yamato op plays traps and having to rely on them are the decks downfall. bujincarnation would do better.

I'm still not a fan of the deck. Even with all the tricks that they pack it is still fairly linear as to what they can do. I have had to play against them in my last 2 tournaments and as long as you think about it you can deal with them easy enough.
